I agree with Hahn that as soon as you demand a trade at age 23 I’m done with you. The inmates don’t run the asylum.

Also said he refused to go to the G league and he was mumbling about his playing time off rip. This entitled MF.

Good riddance

It's really not. No incentive to give him away. Knicks may be able to retain him on a reasonable deal. We don't know what the market is going to be like this summer.

Don’t you put that evil on me, Ricky Bobby.

Bring back Layden
Bring back Zeke
Bring back Mo Taylor
Bring back Steve Francis
Bring back Charles Smith

We essentially just trade Willy for the price of Weis. This organization once again proved its clueless. KP goes down, Willy would’ve had a role. Instead we’re gonna bring back O’Quinn and Kaner probably.
Jazz: Under reconstruction, we'll be back.

Checked out Herring’s tweets, and while he does generally think the Willy trade is okay, he did say this;

“The real problem wasn’t trading him — it was failing to play him in a rebuilding year.”

Can we bring back Jeffries at least? Always did feel like he was unfairly shat on. Was he good? No, but I think that's because of his role. When we actually put good players around him, he looked better and the team played better. He did the little things.

First of all, who is you?! Imagine how much I don't care you're getting tired.

And I've addressed that point several times already. If he's not good enough to beat Kyle O'Quinn for minutes, there's absolutely no guarantee he's good enough to increase his trade value. Based on the reasons for his benching and his position, its more likely he would've DECREASED his trade value.

We don't need Kanter on this team.

What else should be said about KP's injury? It's probably about 45 pages more than it needs to be.

He was not competing with KOQ for time, it was Enes. KOQ is the only big we have who can play with any big we have on this team. Willy, as much as I like him, had no business whatsoever playing with Enes and because we were only running a 3 man rotation at the 4/5 (with true bigs), Willy got the short end of the stick. Willy and Enes had the same role on this team. IMO, the team made a mistake in giving the minutes to Enes, but it is what it is.

The point was how we break down the minutiae of just about anything knicks-related far more than the average fanbase. I love the loyalty and interest we have in our **** franchise.

The idea of him opting out and us signing him long term just flashed across my mind and really put me in a mood.

You can thank DJ Jazzy Jeff Hornacek who reduced Hernangomez to his lowest value possible. NOW, you can use the "Phil Jackson is trying to reduce the value of Melo!" clause. There was NO WAY the Knicks were getting anything better than an opportunity to draft the next Toney Douglas...

The other young player who is de-valued, Damyean Dotson. This kid can HELP the Knicks IF their damn coach has the sac to understand a short bench is the expressway to having multiple starters injured regularly.

I used O'Quinn to be nice, but I do agree with your premise that Willy's main competition was probably Enes. Where I disagree with everyone is this notion that we shouldn't have been playing Enes, who quite frankly had been BALLING at times, for Willy, who...... hadn't. Where's the accountability?
