Can't believe they're underselling Tim "Clyde" Frazier like that.

We should trade KP, Willy and C.Lee to San Antonio for K.Leonard, K.Anderson and B.Forbes.

If we ain't going for youth, at least make it interesting. Isiah plus Shump or JR for Lee and OQuinn.

You're really twisting our arms there guys :P

Would you do KOQ for like DJ Wilson (2017 first round pick!!), Rashad Vaughn (2015 first!!) and a second?

You can have our KOQ.

I know a lot don't like him, and Lord knows he doesn't fit the bill of players I typically like. But kanter, even with his defensive woes (which he's clearly improved since Jeff sat his as down in the beginning of the season), has proven to be a guy that puts forth effort, some leadership (standing up for teammates, communicating on offense and defense), and has created a lot of second chances on offense with rebounding, and ending opposing team's offense with his boxing out and rebounding.

But seeing how loud didn't command a huge contract extension (3 year, 24 million), what do you think kanter will command? I don't think he'll opt out seeing as how contracts may be leveling out for guys who aren't superstars/stars.

If he can stay in NY for a contract like lou, I'd like him to stay, barring a complete turnaround in his effort, behavior, or FAs available at the time

awww the value is there, but I wouldn't want the extra salary from mahinmi on the books, especially in 2019/20.

we have to clear space for 2019.

Nuggets want to get rid of Faried, and they are willing to attach their 1st rounder.

So I thought of something like Faried + Pick coming our way, Courtney Lee going out to a 3rd team, 3rd team sends expiring(s) to Denver, and a minor asset to us.

What do you guys think? Faried's expiring next year, so he fits our plans.

faried, chandler and Denvers 1st to knicks
Reddick expiring to Denver
Oquinn, Lee and Baker + knicks 2nd rounder to Philly

Knicks get assets and pieces that expire after next season
Denver gets out of two contracts
Philly gets a better defensive 2 that can still hit the 3, solid embid backup and can just cut baker next year

Kyle would be a good fit there because they value passing bigs. And they need another center. Now would they include a fist for Kyle or Lee? Doubtful. But let’s see. I will not buy that both these players dont have value. Allegedly Wily didn’t and we want to argue but really can’t. So Lee has no value because he has money left on his deal but Kyle has none because he’s basicalky expiring? It makes no sense. Get us an overrated Moe Harkless or EP/Biyombo for Joah and a second round pick. Something. Anything but the “remain competetive/we value our vets” trash.

Philly LOVES what Reddick adds to their team and ain’t trading him unless it’s in a package for a substantial upgrade. But I like the idea of it all.

This plus Philly valuing it's Cap Space with Max Extensions of Embiid and Simmons coming soon. That's why I don't see Philly as landing spot for Lee.

Here's our current cap space outlook for the next couple of years. This incredible chart is from Knicks Film School.

Me & the homies were trying to think of the next major move the Knicks would make now after the deadline passed.
Conclusion?

Frank Ntilikina, Daymean Dotson, Courtney Lee, Enes Kanter & future 1st for Kawhi Leonard & Danny Green this summer.
http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yc4uovg2

Emmanuel Mudiay/ Trey Burke
Danny Green/ Tim Hardaway Jr.
Kawhi Leonard/Lance Thomas
Kristaps Porzingis/Michael Beasley?
_______/_____

KOQ probably leaves for more money this offseason.
Maybe we draft a Center with the 1st rd pick.

Return to New York Knicks
