On the court Cleveland gets better. For long term team building post-LeBron it's a head scratcher though.

Good thought. He just seems like such a niche player who may get banged up often

Cavs are panicking. They can't outright trade that Brooklyn pick but let's swoop in for some sort of pick swap. Telly/Snelly for Crowder/Shumpert and a pick swap with that brooklyn pick.

Best case scenario for Cleveland: Isaiah never gets healthy, Cleveland upgrades but has zero chance of beating the Warriors and probably isn't even the favorites to come out of the East.

Worst case scenario for Cleveland: Isaiah gets healthy, returns to all-star form, and you just gave up a 1st round pick to make your team worse and take on long-term money and then lose the greatest player in franchise history to the team you traded with.

Cavs helping the Lakers free up cap space is just incredible.

I don't even see how they got "better" on the court. Clarkson is a bench guy who scores at mediocre efficiency and doesn't play defense. Nance is a fun player to watch and is a great transition guy, but he doesn't space the floor. And I get that moving on from IT was a given, but people really thought that he wasn't eventually going to break out of his shooting slump?

Lol. The hyperbole in this thread is great.

He f'n won them a ship and has gotten em to 3 straight finals.

"Franchise killer" though.

Kevin Love (again) - ???

Assuming they lose to the Warriors an excuse really isn't needed.

Yeah, if his injury does not preclude a return to form, he'll still be a very productive player in this league. And if I was Cleveland, I wouldn't have given up on that possibility this season.

His window is going to start closing and he will leave any franchise in shambles due to his insistence on instant success, so yeah, I really believe it

Yeah, sure, I'm guessing Cleveland - with the four and possibly five finals trips during his tenure, along with their only championship - and Miami - with four finals trips and 2 titles - really regret bringing LeBron in. Such a franchise killer.

Do the Cavs love Nance that much? I don't get it.
