Thats what i was thinking, gave them the cap space they need, but IDK if Lebron would even really bother wasting his time with the Lakers. I mean Cavs had a better team built around Lebron, so why would he choose the Lakers over that? Because its in LA? Hell, then he would have a better shot at playing with the Clippers because at least they have Jordan and LouWill and Love-lite (Gallo).

Its also funny because they gain a few pieces that make it look like they want to continue to win (Hill & Hood), but also took back younger talent (IDK if we can really consider Clarkson talent, maybe just Nance), which is somewhat indicating that they are setting themselves up for a future without Lebron, but it will be a sad future with the young talent they chose to acquire.

And then Dumping Superfriend #1, i just have no idea what Cleveland is doing. Its like they make a few moves that looks like they are trying to compete, and follow it up with a few moves that make it look like they are actively trying to push Lebron out the door.

Lakers have room for LBJ and another player without making any more moves. They'll have ~$60+million in cap space. Maybe its George coming over, maybe someone else, but there will be someone else significant coming with him wherever he goes, I think.

Cleveland knows he's gone and doesn't care.

We all know since a year ago ( or even more) that George and LeBron plan to play for the Lakers. It was just a rumor, but right now it looks more legit than never.

I actually think Cleveland has gotten way more competitive. Rose sucked all year, IT sucked. Shumpert was trash. They definitely improved quite a bit. Hill will be able to bother Kyrie in the playoffs, and Clarkson is perfect off the bench. Hood should definitely start and spread the floor for Lebron. Nance Jr will bring excitement off the bench. Wade was tailgating, but honestly I think Lebron doesn't mind that he was traded because he wasn't going to contribute in the playoffs anyway. I hope Lebron stays in Cleveland.

Vince and Joe. What they are gonna do for the Kings?

They need free roster spots BEFORE they trade Hill for Shump, Joe and Rose. Maybe Vince and Bruno?

Cleveland did a nice job to prepare for LeBron leaving. Hood is good; Clarkson is signed, Nance is still young, Hill is a better veteran this year than Rose, Shumpert, Wade, Frye and Calderon put together.

If Lebron leaves - they have a decent nucleus and a top 10 pick from the Nets. Better than when he left the first time

LeBron will still be friends with Wade
He is better in Miami if he is going to be a role player at best

They have improved a lot. Toronto is not happy because they as the 2 seed - well they might want to do something

Tony Daniels looking pretty good for the trade exception

Yeah, it makes sense. Bruno is two years away from being two years away yet.

Out of all these trades, I'm not jealous at all. I don't see any of these guys available as worth it for us to get in on. Other than maybe getting a PG, I'm fine. This is fine.

Toronto is finalizing a deal to send Bruno Caboclo to Sacramento for Malachi Richardson, according to Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports.

Hopefully he's still not two years away from being two years away in Sacramento. Caboclo hasn't exactly done much in the G League, averaging 14.4 points, 6.5 boards, 1.3 assists, 1.6 blocks and 2.4 treys.

The Jazz will likely be releasing Derrick Rose, according to Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports.

He certainly didn't fit into the system that Utah has established, and obviously Donovan Mitchell thriving in his role means there isn't much of a role anyway. Plus, Dante Exum is getting closer. Someone will likely sign Rose as a backup point guard. Maybe he can have value on a team like Phoenix, but leave him on the wire.

He put up decent numbers when he got minutes at the beginning of the season, but no, keep him away! He has no future here with us, so giving him minutes would be a waste of everybody's time.

I doubt Boston trades Smart with the guard's Cleveland just picked up.

I am still holding out hope for a Mudiay or Payton deal.

No way to Calderon, Rose as stop gap PGs
