Apparently Thomas' agent already texted someone at ESPN saying "he isn't coming off the bench"

LA drama already. But they don't have to keep him, isn't Thomas a FA this off season?

Love, Hood, Clarkson, picks... Love goes back being a 25/12 big man and he has shooters to help him. They just need depth... And with high picks They can surround the team with more talent.

Brooklyn ping pong balls will probably win the lottery and Doncic goes to Cleveland and then the Lakers ping pong balls will win the 2nd pick and Ayton will go to Boston. That's the type of stuff that happens in the NBA....Boston/Cleveland top two picks....and especially the Suns since we traded one of them. Meanwhile, we will drop from 5th to 8th.

That Lakers pick is protected remember? 2-5 it goes to Philly, 6-30 goes to Boston, so its impossible for the Celtics to get the #2 pick.

He's probably going to be our starter AND first PG off the bench

Is that a good thing? That's one of our two best second rounders. Not saying the deal is bad, but the Memphis pick is 36 right now, while our's is 35...our others are 52 and 57.

I wonder what he will command in RFA? Probably won't get an offer so hopefully McD doesn't give him another Brandon Knight type deal, even though Knight's was done before the cap spike. Market should be very soft for him.

He's also feisty and not bad defensively.

I always thought for Mudiay or Payton, it would take one of the two second rounders, Grizz or Suns - hopefully the lower of the two. I am okay with it. Suns still have a second rounder to trade or to get a player at top of second round.

Zero reason to give him a Knight deal. IF he plays well enough - is the Lou Williams figures a good contract for Payton. I know, getting ahead of myself.

Worth while kick the tires move on Payton. If he stinks they can just non tender him this summer. He has tallent just never learned to shoot.

The pick we got form Memphis was 2nd most favorable of MEM, CHA and MIA 2nd round picks, so right now it's CHA's 2nd - #41.

I assumed he was shooting closer to the hoop more often , therefore increasing his efficiency, but he is actually shooting a carreer low volume on 0-3ft, so he might actually be just shooting better. 90% of his 3 PTers are assisted, though, so we´ll still see a Ullis-like effect of defenses challenging him to take a three-pointer.

Elfrid is an elite finisher around the basket and good slasher but doesn't have many other skills. Wishing him good luck on his new team
