We know based on reports there were lots of teams interested in both, I'd wager teams were afraid at what the Hawks were trying to get for them.

So they settled for nothing. So puzzling.

Apparently so, but you have to wonder if there was salary or something coming back with the offers they did have. I mean Bellinelli was told that he was traded earlier in the week but they hadn't figured out to where yet.

As for Dedmon, they may be hoping he ends up picking up his option next year, so that kind of makes sense. And Ersan had some no trade clause and was able to apparently reject some deals they brought to him

Right, I get they didn't want to add salary. I can't believe they weren't offered an expiring and a 2nd though. Like say Vaughn/2nd. Grrrr

Apparently they told Philly they wanted Saric for Bellinelli so who the **** knows what was going on there.

Scouting Report on Willie Reed please? I seem to remember his name coming up around here, seems to have decent per 36 numbers. Thoughts?

I am glad Toronto, Cavs, Warriors, or Houston didn't get Deandre Jordan.

I watched the Wolves absolutely abuse IT last night every time down the court, to the point they had to do situational subs on defense in the 4th and OT, all while Jae Crawford sat on the bench with a big back brace or something.

I have no doubt they are much better now and going forward (post Lebron) they have some pieces to build around. Kind of.

To be fair, I don't run a background check on guys before I ask about them

Lou Williams actually signed a bargain extension with the Clippers. Once that happened he was off the block I think.

Sure. Just saying what I think of Willie Reed. "Wife Beating" is a big part of his scouting report.

Didn't say they didn't get better but the best player they got today was Larry Nance. That scare you?

It's a crazy time to trade half your team but all players coming in a much better than those going out. If anyone can get this group to gel it's Lebron. Better on paper but time will tell.

I'd say Hood, but the best player they gave up was a broken toddler that doesn't play defense and Jae Crowder who appears to be another Brad Stevens hoodwinking

Thon for Elfred Payton would have been nice.

To me them getting clearly better = being scarier than they were before the trades.

I wouldn't have taken Elfred Payton for free.

Oh yeah, the Danny Ferry thing too. Yeah, I guess the option to retire, go live on a white sand beach and not got paid 17M for the 13 minutes (yes not a typo) is always on the table.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
