I like this. And it's a great sign that he wants to come here.

And it's also great that Marks was able to flip Vaughn instead of for example Joe Harris, who I bet the Pels were really pressing for.

The Pelicans get some breathing room under the tax to sign potential buyout candidates. We turned the DPE (which would've expired) into a small trade exception values at Vaughn's salary that is good for 1 year.

I'm just disappointed that the team gave up on Vaughn so quickly. So impatient. He showed TREMENDOUS potential during his time here. He will be missed... but not forgotten. I'll have to cancel the jersey I ordered from NBA.com

Nothing flashy but solid single at bat for Marks.

DC will be a solid vet stretch 4 for the rest of this season. Zeller for DC + 2nd rounder + 1.9 trade exception good until next season is good business.

Too soon to move Vaughn? I'm just catching up on everything but damn....

I have no highs or lows for Dante... idk what he thinks is gonna happen.

Solid move. Cunningham can take JW3's place and allow Webb to work on his game in Long Island.

to me this is like the KJ McDaniels trade.... decent guy, decent fit, may help us play better short term but probably not around very long.

we gave up nothing. nice to get the small TE too i guess.

Good move. We've got way too many shooting wings; and it's doubtful Vaughn can amount to anything.

Cunningham is a bit too similar to Acy(DMC as well) but at least he's a sure thing, can provide some muscles, spacing and vet cunning up front, maybe camouflage a little in the Booker role.

I suppose it's probably part of the strategy of the FO, collecting 1/2 and 3/4 tweeners, most of them can defend and shoot. That's nice for switching and utilizing interchangeable parts.

I can't tell if you're being serious or joking. Essentially we flipped Vaughn who we can sign in the offseason if we want for Dante Cunningham, who wasn't really feeling utilized at NOLA for what ever reason. He is a solid corner 3 ball man.

Actually Cunningham from 23' is 43% or more, the last 2 out of 3 seasons. I don't know what happened to him in 2016-17.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/play-index/shot_finder.cgi?request=1&match=single&game_num_min=0&game_num_max=99&is_playoffs=N&shot_distance_min=23&shot_distance_max=23&q1=Y&q2=Y&q3=Y&q4=Y&q5=Y&time_remain_minutes=12&time_remain_seconds=0&time_remain_comp=le&player_id=cunnida01&order_by=fg3_pct

decent pick up. I don't see Webb going back to the G-League especially since he keeps getting better wit more practice time wit the big team and already is in the 98% defending. So I would say, Acy's minutes are more than likely compromised.

Good little move for us: we need depth at PF positions, also Cunningham he's a vet and I thing fit well the system.
Vaughn is hot garbage, we have already a pletora of guards and he's FA this offseason.

Seems like he'll be veteran filler and help to plug PF spot behind RHJ... Not bad.

This is a great move. Cunningham is a tough vet who can hit 3s - He should be able to feast on open looks
