I don’t care if I’m the only one making a thing about this, you’re entitled to be over the moon about a 36 year old who’s only going to play until Reggie comes back at the cost of trading down 2nd round picks.

Some on this board wanted us to go in this direction where we push for the 8th seed at all costs, others wanted to clear the front office and rebuild. Heck some even wanted KCP resigned at any cost last offseason and complained when we didn’t and look how that turned out. There’s always going to be a difference of opinions, and I’m not going to hang around until 2022 to bump this thread but I still wanted my thoughts down in writing.

1. Nobody's over the moon about this, people just recognize how solid of a move it is to get a stop gap vet in here due to the current circumstances. Hyperbole much?

2. A 2nd round pick swap tho? It's amazing that you know enough about what Chicago was willing to do and accept to be outraged about this minute detail.

This is why we shouldn't have traded for Nelson who knows Stans system inside and out and also has playoff experience.

How does this help us?!?!?

Should have landed that center who was just cut whose name I couldn't even be bothered to look up as I type this.

It would have made more sense.

SVG needed to get off that 8 man rotation still this far out from the playoffs. Probably just go to 9 now with Ennis but wouldn't be shocked if he wouldn't go with Jameer over Buycks
