Another sick shooting game tonight from Dario. His 3 ball is definitely improved from last year. The arc on the shot is more consistent. Way more flat line drives last year.

Saric is not a player you judge by advanced stats. If you judge him that way you need to also see his intangibles and give him some kind of small multiplier for it.

Agreed.

Dario continues to improve. His ceiling is limited by his physical tools, but he is still getting better, and he is already an awesome role player in the league. Every team could use a player like him.

(He also has rapidly improving advanced stats. 29th in RPM among power forwards! 10th among those that play 30 mpg!)

Do guys like Patrick Beverley, Danny Green, Robert Covington, and Amir Johnson do well in advanced stats because of their gaudy box score numbers? Or because of their intangibles?

But yeah as said above, Dario's advanced stats have been looking good lately.

His advanced stats were bad when he was playing poorly.

His advanced stats are good now because he’s playing well.

Guess I never looked at his stats and could tell he was going to be good.

It is improved from the beginning of the year i would say. He does have way more arc than before and looks good off the hand. I like the fact he is makeing tougher 3s aswell.

Sometimes the continuous advancement of skill is the best indicator and abillity to chang and adapt your game. Plus guy s got a hell of a motor n head.
But ill be honest never thought he would be this good n he is clearly getting better before our eyes.

He's obviously less than ideal from a length standpoint, but I love his ferocity so much. He never let's up. Probably the most competitive personality on the team.

His offence is coming along nicely.

Last year he didn't seem to play that well with Embiid but obviously his catch and shoot games is much more decisive and accurate.

Has also fit well with Simmons, they have a very good connection. I think that non Embiid lines-ups should feature largely Ben and Dario with Dario the main offensive weapon. I would like to see more stuff run to let Saric use his passing also, not just as a finisher.

Unfortunately this would leave the cupboard pretty bear for Embiid line-ups. Its an indictment on BC that Embiid, such an easy player to build around, is left with space eaters like Booker and Holmes next to him. Have to get a decent stretch 4 onto the roster which really shouldn't be that hard.

Anyone agrees that Dario's struggle is brought by fatigue in his summer games?

I think was def attributable to his shooting woes earlier in the season, jumper was falling short on majority of his misses from deep.

I think playing with simmons and finding his role with the newly constructed lineup as is was a big factor too.
