MKG needs to start getting some damn hate in here. Number 2 pick and hes regressed.

I just realized something

We have 5 lottery picks coming off the bench (MCW, Lamb, Monk, Zeller, Kaminsky) yet we seem to have one of the least productive benches in the league.

We have 9 lottery picks in total on the roster (4 starters, 5 bench players) yet we are a bad team, capped out, with little hope for the future.

That is some awful, awful front office work.

When you have charlottes development team and coaches that will do it to you, put mkg in a diff team i bet he will be mvp shooting 3s unstoppable transition scores and fadeaway jumpers. What we got here is a guy being told by soo many people how to play

How much damn hate do you want him to receive when he’s not the reason we’re losing and the player most pundits expected us to draft (Thomas Robinson) is out of the league?

Our bench actually has been outplaying our starters sans Kemba lately. Most of that is Dwight dragging them down because he’s practically giving up but eh that ain’t gonna stop Clifford from playing him like he’s still trying hard.

We are now 5.5 games out of 8th place and need to go 18-9 to finish .500 (8th seed is currently 27-25). Our next 10 games include two games against Toronto, two against Philadelphia, and one game each against Boston/Washington/Detroit.

I thought you guys were going to win there for a bit in the 2nd. In fact, if you had kept shooting 3s instead of layup attempts you may have. I'm not sure I've seen that many missed layups in a LONG time. And those 3s seemed to be falling like rain.

Anyway, fwiw, I thought your team looked pretty strong, I am a little surprised your record isn't better.

Not sure what Thomas Robinson has to do with anything. Hate is a strong word. Bust is more appropriate.

I just thoroughly explained what Thomas Robinson had to do with it and he’s definitely a bust for anybody expecting him to be anything more than a 15ppg player that’s a great defensive player.

I never expected MKG to be a All-Star when we drafted him and I started following this team because he was drafted here just because I liked his defensive will and that he was from Jersey. The Hornets missed out on Anthony Davis and the alternatives weren’t as advertising. It’s that simple.

But let’s not make MKG out to be a reason for why this team is losing because he’s one of the very few that has had a positive impact each season.

His defense is rather meh this season. Still not sure what Thomas Robinson has to do with anything. Lol. Just kidding. Reeeelax.

c'mon man, I haven't got much hate left. I just don't have the energy to hate on him as well.

Utah's team depresses me, I've sorta liked them for years but their passing today just made the game easy for them.

that was a cursed draft. we missed Davis and who ever we drafted was going to bomb.

I bet Beal would've looked terrible here. if we got Drummond he would've gone out eating chicken with big Al and turned into Olliver Miller

Agreed. His defense has been meh this season compared to what we’ve grown to expect based on his output previously but he’s still a plus defender and has the best net rating on the team.

Snyder has always had a great basketball mind when hes not snorting powder. We should have hired him.

On the other hand, we're 4.5 games from the 5th pick which has a 25.5% chance of moving into the top three. I'm all in on this subtle tanking after we didn't make any moves.

Side note- those Utah Jazz jerseys are dope! and it's cool they change their court up as well. Hornets should definitely have an alternative, throwback court next season.

For the love of Christ, we are 10 games under .500 in February, time to play Monk and Hernangomez and stop playing Marvin, Batum and Dwight so many minutes

Kemba/Monk/MKG/Frank/Zeller should be the starting lineup and getting as many minutes as possible so they can develop into something or get some more trade value

Besides having cool team colors, can we do at least one damn thing right on the basketball court

Return to Charlotte Hornets
