I'm pretty sure this was all John Walls fault. No body ate last night but Beal. We all know no one takes no **** from Wall but Beal. Girly Beal. Tweet something. Beal is like a Hypocrite.

Wall has been thoroughly vindicated IMO.

Beal made everyone starve last game. I wonder what his girlfriend tweeted

Heres' what Beal said about the end of the Celts game. Sounds to me like he's being accountable--and a leader.

Beal appears to accept blame for loss to Boston

After a night of self-examination, it seems as though Beal woke up Friday morning ready to take the heat for the Wizards’ 110-104 overtime loss to the Celtics.

Around 10 a.m., a tweet sent from Beal’s account read: “I put that one on my shoulders! I gotta do better! #NoExcuses.” Beal could have been addressing his 20 missed shots, which included the final one in regulation.

“I did not necessarily like the last shot. I liked the play coach drew up but they ended up having help side come over,” Beal said on Thursday night. “I lost my footing a little bit. I got bumped a little bit but I still should have come with a better shot at the end of regulation.”

I don't know if Bradley reads his Twitter responses.

I responded.

Respectfully, I suggested his advancing the ball and holding is not generally effective in crunch. Suggested allowing a PG (Sato/Tim) to begin the possession. I suggested movement and unpredictable would be more effective.

I noticed that the tweet wasn't deleted and I have not been blocked.

It's part of GROWTH. I wish Coach Brooks had the cajones or insight to make sure better plays were executed. I blame him more than Brad.

I hate this kind of BS criticism. We lost a close game. So? The other guys come to play too, the Celtics come to play. & they're a good team. They won the game as much as we lost it.

Beal shot like sh*t. It happens. If one more shot of his had gone in in the First Quarter, he'd have been 8 for 27, & everyone would be talking about him being a hero. Paying no attention to the misses & low %.

Oubre & Frazier combined to go 3 for 13. Why don't you blame it on them?

Beal played as if he was the only one who can hit a last shot.

I don't blame him.

I think Washington can do better than fail the same way again and again.

I tweeted that the loss wasn't on him.

To him.

Also Oubre had a boneheaded tech, I don't even think he was fouled.

Been a lot of criticism of Beal taking 27 shots, but I haven't seen one mention of the fact that he had 9 assists. So there it is. :)

We have just witnessed why Boston went to the Eastern Conference Finals last season and Washington did not

This is not John Wall's

Everybody saying we need John Wall I disagree

They need to play the same way when the ball stops sticking and is moving instead

I hate watching these Force Shots by Bradley f****** bill

Bull****.

In the Playoffs, you need someone to stand up to the big boss.

The Wizards have one guy who sees himself as a superstar and will have the confidence to go against a Kyrie or LeBron.

Beal is not that guy. And you know it.

This was a regular season game.

This was a winnable game.

If I didn't make it ABUNDANTLY CLEAR Thursday I will reiterate. SCOTT BROOKS seems to prefer Wall/Beal isolation. That is why they fail. That is why neither Wall nor Beal is going to be successful in crunch time. Iso ball.

I was very upset at some of the shots Beal took. STILL FEEL THAT WAY.

What wins games is playing the right way. This coach made SURE they lost the lead with reserves in too long. He failed to INTENTIONALLY FOUL WHEN UP THREE. This game wasn't lost because there was no John Wall. With GOOD John Wall it would have been a win UNLESS he resorted to hero ball. I don't miss hero ball. I hate it when Beal tries to do it by himself.

At 22 and thats the point. Sato took time and he is probably maxed out at this level. Kelly is going to be great at some point- Exum could end up being as good as Sato at some point.

Age is the only thing going for Exum. He has been in the league for 4 years. He's played two awful years and missed two due to injury. You overrate his upside. He hasn't even proven to be a passable rotation guy yet. He could be out of the league a year or two if he doesn't improve.

Yeah I agree Exum has been pretty bad/ and extremely unlucky. He would be rookie if he played college ball.

Potential...i cant call it a failed career cause if he leaves next year he will leave with a bag of millions. BUT as a player I remember people on this very board saying we should trade a certain guard for Exum cause he was the next great one.
