I know it's likely impossible, but seriously we need to ban owners from speaking.

I'm confident he wasn't invited.

Then he could’ve bought a ticket and sat in the crowd.

Nice!
Celtics got crushed no doubt about it. But I absolutely HATE that both Cleveland visits to Boston the Cavs played with house money. They lose the first game - well they didn't have a chance to mesh with IT- they'll figure it out. Today the free pass was there for obvious reasons and it is easy to play that way.
Cavs have the right to put in the claim for the best in the East whatever the outcome of this game or the regular season. They have earned it. That should have been understood from past Cavs dysfunction during regular seasons, and also past Big Three Celtics teams at the end of their Era where they were a team to be reckoned with in the playoffs despite seasons at barely .500.
Brad Stevens on fans who want the Celtics to tank: "I don’t think they’ll like me all that much then."

Bingo. Remember, Smitty wanted everything traded for PG or Jimmy Butler.

Yeah I mean both are only All-NBA players. That was definitely a terrible take.

Yeah, trading the equivalent of all the BKN picks for one of them qualifies.

If Pierce requested to have his Jersey Retirement vs the Cavs. Then I dont know what he was expecting. Should have done it vs the Clippers with Doc coaching vs them.

He was probably planning on showing up, but after the Cavs won he decided to go party with LeBron. Gotta roll with the hot hand. It’s a business fellas

Jayson Tatum, along with Tom Brady, are the only active players I own player-specific gear for. That said, I'd take George or Butler over him or Brown right now for a reason.

And when I said that, the team had IT only hopes of getting Hayward and we didn't even know the pick would be Tatum yet. With IT long gone, and the team having skewed much younger, I'm fine with where the Celtics are at. But if they were still an older group, with unknowns, you are damn right I would want one of the best wings in basketball.

NBATV's "coverage" of this ceremony leaves a lot to be desired. I'll leave it there.

They wouldn't even trade Tatum for AD. Better not even engage with them. For Viper every young player is overrated and trash excpet Brown and Tatum.

Wrong so very, very wrong. Any young player who has been put on a pedestal by the media and fans even with serious flaws to their game is overrated yes. Sorry if I don’t want to sell everything for a non guarantee of beating GS.

Again, if I was told tomorrow I have 4 months to live I’d be against trading the farm for anyone at this point. Maybe KAT but that’s about it. Unlike normal fans I want sustained success not a quick fix.
