Gonna miss Nance. He was our Madsen with talent and size, I thought.

JC could've been quite something. Great offensive talent. Add defense and passing or he'll ride the bench. If he doesn't, his ceiling is Monta Ellis.

Thank you, and good luck.

Nance is the one who will be more of a journeyman in the coming years IMHO. I love the guy but his skill set isn't that rare. I hope he finds a permanent home in CLE but my guess is that he'll move around in the coming years. He will help them but isn't much different than Thompson in potential impact.

Clarkson will find a home and I believe prosper more than a lot of people think. Given the right role (which I think wasn't available here) he will be the scoring spark off the bench for teams in the coming years. The knocks on him for passing don't take into account the people he played with. He made lots of great passes to very marginal pro talent who couldn't finish/shoot and played with possession suckers like Kobe and Lou Williams. I think on a deeper team he will be more valuable than he was here.

Good luck to both!

Didn’t care for Nance’s upgrade, upgrade comments about being traded but I get it.

He was one of my fav Lakers.

Good to see Nance and Clarkson bringing them smiles to the Cavs.

Thanks guys. It was fun.

These are two players I really grew fond of while they were Lakers. It is unfortunate signing Deng cost us them, but it is what it is. Good luck in CLE and hope you're Lakers in the future. JC probably would come back after his current contract, I don't doubt it at all.

I did too.
Always liked Nance's energy.
He played solid defense, and brought a lot of activity and disruption on the defensive end.
I hear people saying his defense was over-rated. But his athleticism and energy will be missed by us.
He also always seemed to get that important rebound in close games.

JC really found his niche on offense this year. I felt that he improved his shot selection too. And added some range to his shot to a point where he was a 3 point threat.

I'm happy with the deal for sure but will miss those two guys.
I enjoyed watching both of them help CLE beat down the C's today.

Jordan Clarkson was my favourite Laker since Kobe retired. I'll really miss him, Nance too. Two great guys, two very good players. We will miss them off and on the court. Good luck boys, hopefully you can win a championship this season. We will be rooting for you guys, no doubt.

These two were part of the transition period from the Kobe era and we've watched them grow and cheered them as they were part and reasons for the team's success. Seeing how much fun they were having in Cleveland, being the veterans and leaders of this young team really took its toll on both and took away the fun in basketball.

Burden's off now, guys. Go back to playing the game you love. All the best and see you when the Purple and Gold meets the Wine and Gold.

Sad to see Nance go to

A Hustle guy who did the things most aren't willing to do.

His Hops brought energy and his low-key showed he was a great team mate.

This is the kinda guy all Teams look for.

Clarkson was a good one on one player but Bball is a team sport.
More of a Lou Wiliamms type.

I think he help the Cavs alot with their new guys might actually look good next year without LBJ.
High lottery pick.

They were here for the bad times, pity they couldn't be here for the upcoming good times but such is life.

We drafted them so obviously we have that parental connection with them. Good players and good guys too which is equally as important in my book. Will always root for them.

Absolutely saddened to see some of our young, promising young players traded away. But, wishing for the best for those two. Future is bright for them wherever they go! Thanks Jordan and Nance!!

Really liked Nance, and I was very happy with Clarkson the 2nd-string signing. Good guys...good teammates.
