Draft:
9. Miles Bridges

Mudiay / Burke
Frank / Hezonja
THJ / Doston
Bridges / LFT
Kanter / KOQ / Kornet

Knicks wont win more then 5 more games this season. If we only get the 9th pick, we have the worst luck in the world.

If we win 5 games, the Nets or Bulls would have to win 10 to pass us

Phoenix, Dallas, Atlanta, Memphis, or Orlando would have to win 11, and Sacramento 12

Winning 5 games guarantees we stay at 9 or move up to 10. That's how far ahead the bottom of the league is from us

We should just let Frank, Mudiay and Burke play all of the minutes for this season and next and stop worrying about the PG position. If they don't develop just sign Kyrie when KP is ready in 19-20.

We want to be bad next year so I might actually keep Noah on the roster and stretch him the year after, when we have an excellent chance of being good.

Just draft well this year and next and tank like crazy!

Why Stretch Noah this offseason? Makes no sense.

Was just coming here to ask if any young SF/PF players were waived that are worth a look. Or D League.

I wanted us to sign both Troy Williams and Christian Wood this past summer.

Here is my off-season plan: Don't resign KOq if he opts out. Do not bring any of the veterans that expire. If Lee gets us a first rounder, trade him. If Hardaway gets us a contract shorter than his, trade him. Sign your draft picks. Get a young developmental coach to a long term contract with the understanding that we won't win anything for the next four years. Play the youth and let the chips fall.v

Almost none of that will happen, unfortunately

It seems so obvious the direction we should go in, but we won’t.

If we need a Veteran presences (mini sign player) on our bench next year... my vote goes to getting Channing Frye. I think he will bring good basketball know how and intellect to this teams bench.

Has a ring. Played on a few playoff teams. Relationship with Horny. I believe he lives on the East coast. Cousin of a former Knick. KP will be out. Could help with front court depth on a 1yr sign, if no KO or Kanter...

And once a Knick always a Knick....

Just a thought...

Why Stretch Noah this offseason? Makes no sense.

Noah has two years left on his deal. Next year (KP will be rehabbing and we will be a lottery team) and the year after (even if things go well and we come out the gate with a nice start) a year where Noah's contract will be expiring. You let it expire or use it
at the deadline...We can not afford to tie up 5-8 million per (of stretched money) for the next 5 years. If will hurt us in the future.

I'm all for trading Lee if it gets us more picks in this years draft. The more I look at the projected prospects the more I realized how stacked it is...Until KP is back to full strength -there's no reason for us to add any more contracts not names draft picks...

as a starter this season, julius randle is averaging

17.6 points/8.8rebounds/3 assists per game. keep in mind that he's only 23 years old.

if we don't come out with a big man in the draft, we gotta throw the bag at randle. he's our best option for finding a good big man next to KP. hopefully we should have enough money to give randle if kanter opts out

he's a restricted free agent. he's the type of guy that's actually worth timmy's money IMO (or at least close it).

I'd be cool w that, but we'd have to move Lee/KOQ/Kanter to make that happen I think.
Brooklyn Nets
Damian Lillard - Rajon Rondo - Trey Burke
Victor Oladipo - Wes Matthews - Javon Carter
Caris LeVert - Derrick Jones Jr. - Glenn Robinson III
Andre Igoudala - Killian Tillie - Trey Lyles
Joel Embiid - Taj Gibson - Kevon Looney
