He really wasn't a problem for us. He was just a lightning rod for criticism. He's capable of doing this every night, but he doesn't. He can get to the basket anytime he wants to, but his confidence will wane if he makes a couple mistakes. He won't trust his shot if he misses a couple in a row.

The number of us that have started watching Suns games and that are showing up in your game threads should speak volumes about how much we think of Elfrid, but for every one of us that defended him to the last, it seemed as though there were several people that would blame Payton for anything that went wrong.

You guys got a quality PG for next to nothing.

I hope he keeps up the great play to the point the Suns won't feel a need to go PG in the draft ...you guys go Trae and we look for other spots in the draft.

Curious: What would be your reaction if he cuts his mop soon...goes main stream hairdo in the next month?

It wouldn't bother me in the slightest. I've always defended it as a personal choice, but he has been labeled immature or unprofessional by a large contingent on our board for the last couple years. I'm sure it would really irritate them if he altered his hair shortly after leaving the Magic.

Bender balls out playing at C, so naturally he’s not going to play a minute at C this game.

I think this is a reverse Deflate-gate. The Warriors are using OVER-INFLATED balls, hence why all the shots we usually make are just riming right out.

Since we have been bad magic threads can get around 12. When we had Dwight we would have 50 pagers.

Less than 10...sometimes barely 5, but in part because of our team turmoil and then Booker being injured. Now to have a trade it helped. Back in SSOL days they were a good 20-30 pages or more I think.

I have a feeling he is gonna return from allstar break with a slightly shorter do. Just a guess though.
Woj is the new Bucher. Shams is the new Woj. Espn is the new TMZ. The NBA is the new WWE.

we need a talented center really badly. Chandler is too old. Len is lacking in talent.

We dont have the shooting on this team not to start Bender at C... We almost have to play him there to space the floor but no Len and Chandler it is while Bender sucks it up at PF... but I digress...

Wish we had an enforcer like an old school rodman who would take out Curry or KD. Punks

Warren waking up. Maybe we'll only lose by 20 if he continues.

Nice assist, Elf!

Got lost on Curry a few poss before. That's an example of what he has to do less. Just floated that play.

We've done it a couple times. I actually had that thought the other night. The hardest thing about it is where to host the thread. A shadow thread can be left on the other team forum but it can't be stickied so it will slide down during the game....unless, I moved it back and forth to where new posts would hit each forum to allow it to stay higher on the page...if that makes sense.

But yeah, I'd be game for it...do we have another game this year?

Payton's passing is really impressing me. Not surprised he has a lot of turnovers against the Warriors and few assists when JJ, TJ, and Bender have all been ice cold, but he sets cutters up off the dribble really well.

I think we do in March? Could be wrong. But I'd be down! I really have no preference of where either if it were to happen, maybe ours since I think we'd be home, but then we could do it another time next season at your home game or something.
