Looks like he's done pretty well so far, 18.7 PER and 26.8 pts/40. It looks to me like this guy has produced both in high school and overseas for someone who gets talked about as if an utter scrub

well at least it's competition, as opposed to no competition warming a bench or rotting in a jail cell somewhere

For what it's worth:
LiAngelo Ball is making himself available for the NBA draft, his agent, Harrison Gaines, told ESPN on Tuesday.

Ball is expected to work out for some NBA teams and will participate in the Pro Basketball Combine in May, Gaines told Yahoo! Sports.

Probably not worth taking him cause of LaVar, but otherwise I'm on Liangelo island. Not saying he's the best prospect in the world but I think he is an acceptable 2nd rd pick based on his numbers and if his 3pt translates has a chance. I think he is 1st or 2nd option on UCLA if he played this year

You know Lavar will have Magic/Pelinkas feet to the fire with their 2nd round pick

We shall see who's Balls (no pun intended) are bigger

When I saw "junior" team, I assumed it just meant the B Squad, but they were actually playing against children lol

He is like a less mobile fatter version of Gary Trent with not as much shooting acumen and even more of a non-tactical sounded style

I have stood next to him, he is 6'5 in shoes, tops

His shooting stats in Lithuanian league are great, like 45% from 3 on 6.5 attempts, but his rebounding and assisting numbers are pathetic. He is averaging like 16 points per game but has index rating of just 11, provides nothing besides his scoring. and yes, elephant in the room I guess is that Vytautas became even less competitive since Balls joined, absolute trash.

LOL it was just like a Chino Hills game, LiAngelo leaking out before the other team even shoots the ball.

I hate that we need to have a thread on this undraftable turd. So many other better prospects deserve their own threads over this clown family.

Dont post on the thread then.
As if we have to hear your insults on the Ball brothers.
Instead of being a jackazz, why dont you say why he dont get drafted and leave it at that.

Personally, I dont think Gelo has the length and speed to get drafted at 6'5" tall. That said, he has averaged 15.7 ppg and made 45% from 3 in the LKL league and his body is NBA ready so you never know especially if he impresses in Florida and during the tryouts. He will get a few invites thats for sure already.

Most likely, he gets undrafted and someone, possibly the Lakers, give him an summer contract and possibly a g-league contract as a potential 3&D guy. I could see that happening but I wouldnt waste a pick on him. LKL league is better than most college conferences and shooting 45% is very high level so we shall see how he shows up in May.

Understandably, since he's a Power Forward at 6'5.... And its not like he's Charles Barkley level athlete and body (long arms, super strong)

If he was 6'8 or 6'9 he'd be on the list...

Undrafted at best, IMO. And that could be a good thing for LaVar as he can egg his Lakers to just go after him and sign him. He said he wanted all his children on the same team, right? Sounds like getting undrafted would be the perfect plan unless the Lakers trade for him on draft night (as an extra pick for cash considerations), which seems highly unlikely.

How crazy would it be if the Lakers trade for 76er's pick #60 and draft Gelo.

This board and the Lakers board would go nuts!!

Definitely. But I can't wait to see LaVar and the Lakers on draft night.
