I’m guessing your joking....

Mitchell is a complete chucker.

His efficiency of late has been awful.

Who gives a flying **** about efficiency when you're the leading scorer of a team that's winning.

It's funny how the more efficient player is considered a chucker by the fans of the less efficient player...

Mitchell is relied to drag this Jazz offense to wins, because he's the only shot creator on this team. And his efficiency on that USG as a rookie is nothing short of miraculous.

It's quite rich from fans of a player who has LOWER efficiency than Mitchell to trash him for his efficiency. It's actually hilarious.

For what it's worth, I would gladly give them both the ROTY and I wouldn't feel aggrieved if Simmons won it on his own, because he's a tremendous player and a great prospect for the future.

Slamming Mitchell for his efficiency and calling him a chucker is way out of line though. He's doing what the Jazz require him to do and he's been dragging the team to wins all season long.

The really crazy thing about Mitchell, is that he really has had 2 bad games in a row now, but here's his #s:

27 points 6 rebounds 2 assists 1 steal = Jazz win (10/24 shooting)

25 points 7 rebounds 5 assists 3 steals = Jazz win (9/28 shooting)

I'm not even kidding about those being bad games. He was terrible in the first half in both games and then turned it on in the 2nd half, and against the spurs especially in the 4th quarter.

God help this league when he learns to play all 4 quarters.
New York said Mitchell wasn't the guy you trade the sink for, then they traded it for Mikal, lol.

MItchell was a chucker tonight actually. Though really I don't see what the big deal is with giving somebody the green light on a team to shoot and it so happens to be Mitchell, their best scorer on the team.

Josh Jackson Took 18 Shots to Get 8 Points Tonight

I don't recall ever seeing such an inefficient performance. What's the word on him been this year?

He's been shooting as well as Lonzo Ball. It's hard for me to decide if Josh Jackson or Lonzo Ball is one of the worst scorers.

He’s still shooting about the same as Dennis Smith Jr who gets so much hype lol.

Smith Jr, De’Aron Fox, Lonzo Ball and Josh Jackson all shoot the same %. Fox has a 48% TS, then both Jackson and Smith Jr have a 47% TS and lastly it’s Ball among these four with a 43% TS.

guy is playing really well since the new year. 18/6.5 in february, 14.5/5 in january. up from like 9ppg and sub 40% shooting in 2017. seems like bad timing on this thread.

Too soon for "channelling his Inner Mamba"?

*Edit: Looks at third reply. "Guess not."

He was 0-13 when they played Houston on the 28th.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

And he plays good defence.

He will be a really good player. Phoenix is set at SG and SF for years to come.

You guys are ready to call every other promising rookie a bust and we haven't even reached the 3/4ths mark of the season.

Josh Jackson had a broken shot when he entered the draft. Jax's strength was suppose to be his defense. How has Jax defense been so far?

Not Yo Ham Lakers!

That makes no sense....

Of course he’s going to be the leading scorer, he takes double the shots anybody else takes.

Jazz aren’t winning because of Mitchell, it’s because Gobert is back and Ingles playing extremely well.

Merged into rookie thread, a poor shooting performance didn’t need it’s own thread.

So if Gobert was still injured and Ingles not hitting shots.

Would Utah still be winning?

No chance...
