Suns lost by 46... they're awful. Josh Jackson with a very impressive -43.... is that some kind of record?

I looked around and worst i could find: Cavs -Lakers 2011 , Manny Harris - 57 in epic 112-57 game
Antawn Jamison had , in same game - 47, Kobe had +46 ( even tho Kobe is owner of some of the worst single game records , mostly shooting )

The Suns lost all 4 quarters and Payton gets praise??? His plus/minus was a negative-22. (To be fair, Josh Jackson has a plus/minus of negative-43. WOW!)

A lot of us actually watched the game and he was the only bright spot. I don't get why he wouldn't get praise if he was literally the only one playing well and setting up people that missed open shots (while playing fine defense on Curry for the most part).

Estatic with the loss, Simmons lowkey is one of our biggest tank commanders. He has had a lot of turnovers and questionable decisions in the 4th qtr in multiple games.

So happy Mario was able to get it going late. I could tell he was very frustrated with Lauri getting the best of him most of the game and than the tables turned. It's very unfair to ask Mario to guard a 7 footer though, especially one as talented as Lauri. Mario is not a PF.

Also I think Vogel finally realized Birch is better than Biz. Has been opting to keep him in in 4th qtr past couple games. A bit late there Frank  has been going with Mack over DJ as well.

Golden St. played 3 - 5 feet off of him the whole game, Always went under screens, and generally ignored Payton. This was game-plan. Guard the 4 players that could effect the game and let Payton shoot Js. And it worked.

Back to my point after watching this: Jackson was not only statistically horrible, he was indeed horrible. He did not show capacity to play NBA-level defense. I Was shocked at how bad a man-defender he actually is. Maybe it's just one game, and it was defense against 4 All stars, but gosh he was bad.

With all due respect, the gameplay proves otherwise:

Curry or (insert defender here) is pretty much defending him like he's an NBA caliber scorer, which he is. He even went over on a few screens. Of course, he also went under a few and dared him to shoot on a shot. But let's not pretend that Elfrid was given charity points and nobody was paying him any mind.

I'd say the one Sun the Warriors tried to limit was TJ Warren.. he was hounded. The rest sort of just missed open shots or rushed shots for no reason.

Anyway, in Magic related news, the only player I'm excited to watch currently with AG and Isaac injured is Birch.. but dude is resigned to taking 0 shots a game. I get some sort of perverse joy in Mario playing well just because he's sticking it to this franchise. I've always tried to see the positives for the Magic, but the end of this season is just almost unwatchable, and that was even when Payton was here too.

Maybe I'll be refreshed once the draft rolls around.

The roster that took Orlando from 18 back to 1 up in the 4th was: Mack/Afflalo/Fournier/Hezonja/Birch

Combined they scored 23-to-3 in about 6 minutes played. Then Simmons replaced Afflalo to close out the loss on an 0-to-7 run.

I could belive it if he didnt play Mo and Afflalo and give Birch around 30 mins and put MH at point guard.
He is trying to win like he always did nothing has changed.

He is following tank orders. No coach in their sane mind would play Biz over Birch in key minutes. We are automatically a better team when Birch steps in. We are stuck with Biz for at least one more season because of Hennigan dumb self giving him that contract. All I know is that when it's time to win, we better start Birch it not eff Vogel.

I think it's just a matter of time until Forcier gets his turn. Vogel I think will have 2-3 more years at best here once management sees that he isn't a great coach without all star talent.

That's just it though... playing MO and AAA actually helps the tank.

These are the losses I like, competitive and interesting. Good game from Mario. Can he keep this up? His mental game is fragile.

Speights, birch and mack lead the team in +/-... pretty sure they're the only guys in the +. Afflalo is hit or miss, but with EP gone he is going to get a little more minutes. Vogel is not tanking.

Generally one wold assume that a rested Simmons is an upgrade to a winded Afflalo.
