McCullough is bad, but he can finish on the break, worth trying depending on the match-up?
Brooks seems to decide on his rotation, and sticks to it. Sato plays if someone is injured or a blowout. Smith only if injury, or except the one time Mahinmi was even worse than his usual. He didn't play Smith against Atlanta - maybe, as a veteran, it's insulting to play Smith only because it was a blowout. McCullough only plays if blowout.
Other coaches seem to be more willing to experiment. Especially early in the season. That approach makes a lot more sense to me.
McCullough was bad in summer league, but he was trying to do too much. He could be useful as an energy guy off the bench. Nothing to lose at this point.
