yeah Isaac was a project to begin with and with his inury issue it makes him even harder to peg in the lottery. He would have made some sense on Portland, Charlotte, and Miami but I think they would take the safer route in the end by avoiding a big with lower leg issues.

But I will easily put Mitchell at 1. He's a star.

He moves up into the top 3.
Tatum is still younger, bigger and has more potential.

I won't say what Tatum can't be but I don't see the kind of attack that Mitchell has with Tatum. That's why he's compared with fellow lilliputian Lillard + defense. Tatum has more of a Porzingis personality 8-) where he can do a bit of everything but it isn't necessarily a good thing if he has to try to dominate.

Also agree with hype machine 3tohead that Jackson is really starting to round into form.

What was the deal with Z.Collins this year? Has he been injured all or most of the year? I really liked him in the draft but haven't heard anything about him.

Right. But it's fruitless to do every month. Let the season pass before it's done again. Some rookies will get better. Some will get worse. Some will hit the Wall. Some will get more playing time. It's pointless to keep making this same exact thread every month or week.

Numbers are ugly. Haven't watched him too much since he's gotten in the league but I liked him as well. Portland has a logjam seemingly everywhere. He's a bit of a project and very foul prone. Gonna take a couple seasons before we see if he can pan out (as is the case with most rookies)

Didn't drop out of the rising stars.. why would he drop from the top 10?

IMO it's really our coach that's holding him back at this point. That lay up he had last night was proof to me that when he gets a green light without a fear of benching, that he will be elite.

Right now there are more safe picks for sure, but let's not forget that Greek was all-hype for his first few months AND he was given the early green light.

mitchell looks like what everyone expected fultz to like so, I think He goes one. Lonzo still goes two because Lavar has the lakers in the palm of his hand.

So he did play this year then? I thought he got hurt early and hasn't played much at all but haven't paid attention so i didn't know.

I don't think you can keep Mitchell on a leash.

In any event, I don't mean it to be a knock on Tatum, who I like. I just think most teams take a guy like Mitchell before him because of his ability to simply take over at this level.

I think both are more suited as Robins moreso than Batmans. Mitchell's too small to be the best player on a team with his play style and Tatum while very good doesnt have that dominating presence about him. I know those are really general statements lacking a lot of substance but I think it makes sense lol. Tatum was really drafted into the perfect place for him to succeed.
