Three things:

1. Rosenstein says there is currently no evidence of collusion. Let's see what happens when some of these Russians or Trump insiders start to sing.

2. Rosenstein says the Russian meddling was designed to help get Trump elected AND suppress the minority vote. Not a good look for Trump or Repubs.

3. Will Trump finally acknowledge that the Russians interfered in our 2017 presidential election. He has refused to do so thus far despite there already being a ton of evidence that they meddled.

I'm not going to dig it up but trump said russia meddled over a year ago but the outgoing Obama admin said that there was no evidence that russian meddling swayed the election. and trump stuck by that and insisted that there was no collusion.

what your post suggests is to hang on to the hope that collusion still exists. To keep that very divisive hope alive. which allows russian meddling to "win" in that it continues to sow discord in our democracy. Your post is consistent with a continued desire to continue to sow discord. And I get it when canadians like cammac and whoever else is not an american citizen spreads those seeds of discord. But its time for americans to come together. accept the lawful results of the election and accept donald trump as your president and begin to NEGOTIATE and work with him to make this a better country.

Also, this was a sophisticated spying operation so by-definition, there will be cut-outs and plenty of plausible deniability. Mueller kept this under-wraps, he has plenty more where that came-from, he is still interviewing Trumps people.

Yeah SD20 being an unhinged derper as usual. Keep in mind if this round of indictments included Kushner or Trump Jr., SD20 and Nate would be calling it fake news, purge the FBI, shut down the investigation etc.

Instead SD20 is reading it down to the letter and giving it the most positive spin he can imagine because he [wrongly] thinks it might be good for Daddy.

IN THESE INDICTMENTS. You don't understand how Mueller is working with the DOJ. Mueller and his investigators/prosecutors are working behind the scenes, when they have something ready to bring-forth, they let the DOJ know. Mueller could have indictments ready on Monday for Don Jr & Kushner IF they are ready, and at THAT time the information will presented to Rosenstein for dissemination.

You're right that there is no evidence that the Russian meddling swayed the election. But there is also no evidence that the meddling didn't help Trump win.

As far as coming together and getting behind Trump, sorry, I can't do that. I'm going to continue to oppose and resist a man who is a bully and liar, and who uses race, ethnicity and religion to divide us. I simply can't and won't support that kind of person/leader.

1st collusion isn't a criminal offense but obstruction of justice is so the statement was just a skate around possible charges to the Trumpsters team. This is a broadside at the Russians to get Trump to enact the sanctions that he has been sitting on. If SD20 thinks this gets Kushner, Donny Jr. and others off they whistling Dixie in front of a Robert E. Lee monument.

Exactly, these surprise indictments will also put pressure on Trump hold-outs Manafort, Don Jr, and Kushner who are all clamping-up or lying in Don Jr's case. Anyone who is thinking about lying can see what is happening around them.

so today...nearly 15 months after this investigation began. where we have FBI, CIA, NSA "all-phucking in" all hands on deck investigations. plus house intel, plus senate intel. plus judiciary. and a special prosecutor as the cherry on top.

after all the the acting united states attorney general came out today and said "no collusion" by any american" but all of a sudden there will be collusion charges next week? next month?

It doesn't work that way. If there was any chance that there could be a collusion door still open Rosenstein would not come out and say what he said today.

and I will say this. Rosenstein was visibly shook and kept questions very short. They got something on him. He did not enjoy that presser. He is no friend of trump. neither is mueller. and neither want to clear trump. But in essence they just cleared trump today. Nunes' pressure has clearly worked. it forced Mueller and rosenstein to put up or GTFO.

The circumstances matter. If it turns out that Trump "obstructed" an investigation that didn't have any original crime, there won't be any impeachment.

Nixon was attempting to cover up an actual crime. There has been no crime committed here. so really. libs are just melting down. ho hum. it must be so taxing on the mind and soul to be a "liberal."
