He was probably joking, and if not it's not that uncommon that players names can be announced wrong.

Eh the way I see It the world was so damn good that they all cancel each other out

If it was a close game and someone on the losing team was by far the most dominant player, then sure. Like the year LeBron lead both finals teams in points, rebounds and assists, and they gave MVP to Iggy.

But when a team gets beat down and the leading scorer was basically the guy who was best at refusing to pass whenever he got his hands on the ball, then sorry, nope. And I'm not singling Brown out, really, because the whole first half for the US was about guys jacking up shots and not passing because they wanted to be the leading scorer. That's what I hate about these games, is everybody wants to be leading scorer, so it's motivation to play selfishly and jack up a shot every time you touch. Brown just did that better than anybody else.
