JJJ, zero rebounds today vs NWern. Hard pass.
"Mannnnn I’m like the guy that pissed this whole board off saying literally all year no Mikal, no Mikal in the KD trade."

Michigan St and JJJ look like garbage so far at the half !
Mo Bamba > JJJ every day of the week for the Suns
The only advantage Bamba has over JJJ is rebounding. Jackson is better at everything else (including shot blocking) and is 16 months younger.

Disagree. Also standing reach matters. Defense isn't just blocks.

The problem with these two players IMO is that they can't create his own shot. We need someone that can create for himself or for others. That is the most important skillset in basketball and we have already frontcourt players in Chriss, Bender and Williams that can't create his own shot.

My plan... Anyways.
If Suns get top pick or of Ayton is on the clock when they pick. Get Ayton.
Then trade the Heat or Bucks pick or both for a veteran AND future pick.
Then use the second rounder to get Ajdin Penava
Ayton is a 7'1 Big who can provide
20ppg
11rpg
1.5 to 2big
Big man who can shoot a mid range and 3pt shot
Penava is a long PF sized all rounder who is a
16ppg
8rpg
4bpg
1.5spg
Kirilenko clone who can shoot the 3pter
Could be the Jokic or Gobert of the draft. I am keen on his measurements and combine looks like a 6'9 forward with 7'4 wingspan

The top 7 is looking like a very even field.

If Suns are on the clock and Doncic is available... And spurs offer Kawhi Leonard for him... But Suns have to add all the other picks and Warren... Do you do it?

That Kawhi/Spurs tension is fake news... but yes.

Are you saying that he can average those number in the NBA?? Probably no one in the history of the game has average that...those are crazy numbers and he is projected to be just a second round pick.

Ayton doesn't have NBA 3 range yet. He'll have to develop that.
SHAZAM!
Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Yes it's 70 percent chance fake... But chatting to Spurs fans on other forums... They think Kawhi isn't happy with a couple of things.. His injury management and the fact that Spurs capped themselves out signing Gasol and Aldridge... While other teams got younger stars to boost their playoff chances... Apparently he's not confident spurs will get far While in his prime.

No the stats I've put up are college stats obviously lol.
But Penava could be a Kirilenko clone... He has massive wingspan and used to be a point guard until he shot up 7 inches in height... So he could dribble and make plays

Re: NBA Draft and NCAA Basketball
Bamba will be a monster defender and JJJ may be the best big man in the draft 5 years from now. BUT, even Dwight, Deandre and Rudy took a few years to reach DPOY caliber. There will be lots of ugly between those two right away even though they'll be great picks down the road. McDonough might not have that kind of window.
On the other hand the Suns would likely still be bad with Ayton, Bagley or Porter but they'd be an exciting team offensively and have more evened out scoring. It's something to build on from an entertainment factor which McD would benefit from if it doesn't translate to wins next year.
Drafting Doncic would be fine but you'd have to shake things up significantly by trading Warren and possibly getting some size in there. I would dangle TJ and the Miami pick to move up for Carter Jr.

He can immediately start on this suns team and average over 10 rebounds and a couple blocks per game. His offense will develop over time. If a GM drafts him they know exactly what they are getting. A 7 footer with a wingspan of 9’5’’ who can rebound at a high rate and block shots. If your expecting that I don’t see how he can be a bust.
On a side note I still like Ayton, bagley, and porter before him
9-5 wingspan

I thought it was 7-9.

Yeah. I take Bamba. He is a can't miss defender. His floor is Gobert. Rebounding is important.

this is where you have to be careful..
Bender was supposedly the next Porzingis... who was drafted a year before him.... so whats the odds of "next" when the player being compared to just arrived in the NBA.
Gobert too... he's pretty young still.... so whats the odds of a "new" Gobert coming in the league.
Bamba can easily be better than Gobert or the next bust... Olawokandi, Thabeet etc.
