He hyperextended his elbow, which hurts to have it out and full reach. I don't want him to go out there and half-ass it because he doesn't want to say he is hurt and get worse.

Buddy's injury should only hurt for a few days tops.

Going for the sweep! I really wish Bobby would move KJ back to the lead off spot.

Not really. I would like to see who BP has ranked as our #2 and #3 pitchers, since harrison was #1.

I'd say Mark Teixeira feels right at home.

I just missed watching Tex's homerun tonight. I walked in the door and turned on the t.v. right after he sat back down in the dugout.

2 hr in 2 games!

Of course in the middle of all this optimism someone gets **** hurt. If Renteria is down for any real amount of time it's going to suck. He's had more hits since the All Star break than anyone. Fortunately we have Escobar, but I still rather have Renteria playing everyday.

Teix is going to give us some insane power and give us a great lineup, but I am agreeing with Steve Phillips. We need SP badly, and that is going to be out achillies heel.

Well I would have placed Willie at 2b, kelly to ss, chipper staying at 3b. All of them have great experience at those positions.

Yeah, Bobby putting Willie at 3rd cost us at least one run, maybe two. Dumb move.

And soon it looks like it'll cost us Willie. He's hit the wall twice now.

If we also had Franco left put him at 1st, Teix to 3B, and Chipper at ss. That would be interesting.

I think Miller has the best name ever.

Franco isn't on the team anymore. He was DFA'd when we made the trade for Teixeira.

I hate these extra inning games. Win already and focus on the next series.

He said "If we also had Franco..."

Man, Chuck James had to pitch-hit. I'm not feeling too good about this game right now.

I took the "if we also had Franco" as him thinking that we may have.

Do we lead the NL in extra inning games? I swear it seems we go into extra innings a lot more than usual.

Well it looks like errors and injuries down the stretch are going to cost us this game.
