Has anyone heard of Ajdin Penava - 6'9 215 lb forward from Marshall? He's putting up tremendous stats this season. Granted, Marshall is a small school.

Hes been on my board for a while. Fischella mentioned him earlier in the year. He’s also only 20 years old.

Went through few of his highlight videos and he looks like an interesting player. I don't know who to compare him though. A shorter, slightly more athletic Jokic perhaps? :-?

Im Bosnian as Penava and I dont follow NCAA that closely, I watch some games when they are on the TV, but apparently Marshall doesnt play against good competition, so its for a debate how good he is right now... but of course, those are a great stats

Id love to see him against good competition, just so we can know better...

Do you see any potential in Raymond Spalding from Louisville?

De'Andre Hunter
6'8" wing + 7'2" wingspan
Hunter is turning himself into a late 1st rounder or higher.

He won’t be entering the draft this year.

Maybe no longer a sleeper but I see some Marc Gasol in Jontay Porter. Not the most mobile or agile player but he's smart and positions himself well and is a solid shooter and passer for a big man.

I don't think he'll declare this year though. Could be a lottery pick next year in a weaker draft class if he has a strong sophomore campaign.

he's my sleeper...

hopefully suns draft him in the early second.

He use to be a PG apparently then he grew 7 inches. So he has good dribbling skills and vision and feel for the game.

His blocking is insane and he can hit the 3pt. Maybe the "Jokic" of 2018 draft.

That’s interesting. Same thing with Alize Johnson, he was a 6’3 point guard that grew to 6’9. He’s still a good passer and can handle the ball well.

As far as sleepers? Maybe Khri Thomas, although he's a well known commodity at this point and will probably go mid-late first...

I'm thinking late first early second

Josh Okogie at 47 worth the gamble

Does Rawle Alkins count as a sleeper? I feel like I never hear about him but he looks like a strong guard with good ball skills and a decent knack for scoring. I would take him mid first in a draft like this.

I watched Ajdin Penava many times when he played for U18 Spars Sarajevo and for U18 Bosnian national team. He was far from a leader, both in Spars and Bosnian team he played together with Edin Atić who was a true "star" on that level. But I always liked Penava.

I heard stories that he trained less days during the weak than the rest of the team when he was in Spars, because he was very focused on education and basketball was a secondary thing for him. As much as I heard, he is sort of "Lisa Simpson" type of
personality.

This is his best game for the Bosnian U18 national team. Ended with 13 points, 8 rebounds, 3 blocks. White jersey, number 13:

(At 1 : 12 : 55 he scored 3 + 1)

Has anyone watched Jerome Robinson of Boston College? He’s one of my sleepers in the 2018 draft.
Would love to know how others feel about him.

Personally, I love him on the offensive side of the ball. This kid gets buckets. He can play with or without the rock. Not so sure about the defensive end. Will he be able to stay on the floor at the next level??

one of the best 3pt shooters in the country, but the more I watch the more I'm reminded of Rip Hamilton. Just a killer inside the arc. underrated passer, ballhandler. can score at all three levels. solid defender, plus athlete. mid-first rounder in my mind.

I don't see it at all with Alkins. Would be surprised if he ever plays in the NBA.

I wouldn’t at all. He’s a scout darling. Last year scouts loved him and he got a lot of positive feedback before he decided to return to college. He’s a better prospect than Isaiah Whitehead, who was two years older when he was drafted. Personally I’m a huge fan of his. He has a great body, huge hands, excellent first step, potentially great finisher and I think he’s only going to be better with NBA spacing. He reminds me a little of an underdeveloped Tyreke Evans.

To me he's just bigger than everyone else. I don't see him as an NBA player at all and definitely not as good as Whitehead who was a much better player in college.

He's nothing like Evans, no where near that class.
