This fan base would eat Randle alive for not being LeBron or Draymond. Never ever satisfied.

They 100% would and I 100% wouldn't.

You trade our 3 greatest assets for Kawhi and you're stuck holding your thumb up your ass the next 5 years as a treadmill team.

Don't kill me. But if we did everything right last year and (UGH) dealt KP to Boston for Tatum+Brown+Nets pick, selected Mitchell

We likely still suck... and having 2 to 6 picks you draft Ayton and Jackson...

Yeah...6 top 5 picks!

Look at how many lottery picks we have from the last 10 drafts.

Imagine we drafted Okafor. Traded up for Fultz. Blow next years pick on top of that.

These fantasy scenarios where we nail 3 or for straight picks and sign FA xyz and win a title in 3 years need to stop.

GSW won it all with ZERO top 5 picks.

Several other teams have lived in the lottery for a decade or more and have NOTHING to show for it. Look at OKC. They drafted KD/Harden/Westbrook on the same team. Nothing.

There is no exact science. Just try to keep young players until it works. That 1999 Knicks run was the best year ever!

:nonono: Dudes talking about trading KP?

Knicks have some solid young players in KP and Hardaway Jr. If Frank or Mudiay develop into starter caliber players we are good.

As long as the Knicks don't trade future picks going forward they will be fine.

We need three all-star level guys. KP makes one. We need two more. If one of Frank/2018 becomes one... great! Then we just sign one more, hope other guys fill in as role guys and we can contend.

Hezonja to the Knicks next season as an UFA . His stats are pretty good this season and Magic fans seem to not want him to leave. He's good friends with KP and I assume for the right price Perry would sign him.

Recent interaction between the both of them 8-)

Mario has shown he's worth at least a look. I also think the other Hernangomez would be a good fit for our team and he's languishing in Denver. They have a similar logjam at PF to the one we had at C and might be willing to relinquish him cheaply like they did with Mudiay. There are just no minutes and will be fewer when Millsap returns. We should inquire over the summer.

Unless the Lakers are getting LeBron they will almost certainly retain Randle. They basically showed their commitment to him when they traded Nance. I don't want to be throwing out Timmy type deals to the likes of Randle and Mario. Or Timmy.

I'm entertaining it.

It might be worth it just to up the Lakers' price. As I said, I think they do match anything. Their better record is a factor of a lot of things but he's been very good.

yeah they're probably going to match anything he gets. he's been their best player so far imo. hopefully we're able to get a good big man in this draft (carter)

Why are we not in the talks to be getting LeBron or KD. I think 1 if not both of them will be testing the FA market. We should have enough cap to sign one of them. Are we really that bad that they won't even look our way?

KP - ?
KD or LeBron - Lance
2018 Pick - Timmy
Frank - Lee
Mudiay - Burke

That team would make some noise in the East for sure.

I think they'll come here for the minimum cause they could make so much money from advertising. Not sure we'll get KD until we win a championship. But he'll join us right after

Return to New York Knicks
