What a shame the most talented coach of the group in question has already been crucified (Pitino)

I think the fact that it’s 20 programs being listed and not 1-2, in turn softens the blow for all the major programs.

College ball has been dying, no casual cares until March and the product is not that great. Legalized gambling can save it. Hopefully that’s imminent.

cuonzo is being super coy about mpj returning at any point during the season, but for any tea-leaf readers, they're not even ruling out playing him tomorrow:

"Maybe I should say he’s playing and we’ll get (Kentucky) off balanced," he said. "I haven’t thought that far into it. Maybe. If it makes him feel good. Yeah, that’s fine if that happens. It could happen. But I haven’t thought about it to that point. That’s why my assistant coaches helps me out so much."

I pray we get JJJ or Bamba with our pick. I think we need to think of a SF who can guard Simmons and Freak for the next decade-what about Knox? He is taller and much longer than Bridges, with a wider frame to put on muscle.

Knox only looks the part, body-wise. I haven't seen anything to suggest he's a wing stopper.

This is the exact reason I want Knox w the Pels pick if Mika Bridges is gone.

We need a Big wing defender to throw at simmons Giannis Tatum and Brown.

Porter is plenty big and will make those guys work on defense too.

For you guys familiar with Porter: Is there any indication he can be a Durant-like defender at the next level? Someone who didn't really start out in the league as a defender but is now considered a plus defender (mostly due to his freakish length and body)

I just watched some clips of Daniel Gafford and I think he'd be a great pick with the Pelicans pick.

Just for fun.....my fantasy is the Bulls win the #1 pick, select Ayton, then watch Mikal Bridges fall into our lap with the Pels pick. And since it's my fantasy you can throw Scarlett Johansson in there somewhere....

Hopefully this allows Miles Bridges to fall to the NOs 1st round pick.

No one can answer that question and if they did it would be a guess. He has only played 2 minutes of college Bball. Hopefully he comes back so we have at least a small sample size.

Porter is 6'10 and moves well for his size, but Durant has a huge wingspan that Porter doesn't. There's no reason Porter can't be a good defender, but he's mainly going to be a scorer in the nba, and I think he'll be a good rebounder, too.

And I don't think anyone's draft stock is going to take a hit because they were mentioned in the article. Why should it? Rose got somebody to take his SAT for him (it appears, although never proven), and that didn't stop him from going #1.

If we fall out of the top 6, my picks would be Mikal Bridges and then Carter. Bridges would be so perfect for our team.

Ayton with a big game last night- I like to see him get double digit rebounds, which he should be doing, and he had 3 blocks and 4 assists.
