Yo the Clips are being smart as hell.

Resigned Lou Will to a great deal.
Bradley is playing himself into a cheap deal.
Nobody is gonna sign DJ to a crazy deal.

+ They got Beverly & Tobias on solid contracts. They're gonna be the bargain team next year. It's smart. Let these guys go chase their deals & they'll come back to us when they see the well is drier than expected.

Dude's the main reason we didn't get Durant. If you guys remember, Danny left the meeting with KD thinking that we were at least 50/50 with the Dubs. Then, the report came out that Jerry West had a long phone conversation with him after; sounds like that phone call convinced him to go to GS.

Which just goes to show how much of a bitch Kevin Durant is. Jerry West still gets depressed about getting his ass kicked by the Celtics. Even to this day, despite the fact that he's been an architect of multiple championship teams, he still loses sleep over getting dominated by the Celtics. So I'm guessing that his phone call to Kevin Durant was something along the lines of "Might as well go for the sure thing and win some championships. There's no way you lose here! If you go elsewhere and lose, you're going to regret it for the rest of your life".

Of course, KD, being the beta in alpha's clothing, decided to listen to Jerry and took the easy way out. After the past couple of seasons, it has become apparent that Kevin Durant was never Boston Celtics material. Give me the guy who doesn't even entertain the idea of losing. I want the player who is confident enough to know he'll be raising banners in the Gahden.

I'm still ticked off that we are about to let that coward wear Reggie's #35. Just awful.

Different league today bro. If you want to win a title, find yourself 2-3 elite players. Get with the times or end up like AD... Also KG was almost a Laker. He wanted to go there.

Yes, there is nothing cowardly at all with jumping to a team that just went 73-9. A team that you happened to be beating 3-1 before you choked away that lead. But hey, different league?

Not debating whether it’s cowardly or not. Just defending his decision, cowardly or not.

Given today’s league, it’s smarter to make a “cowardly” move than a loyal one. You have to win if you’re a player of KD’s level. He went from star player to “is he top 5-10 ever?” in one season. But yea, you’re right.. he should just resigned to play with a player he couldn’t stand in Westbrick.. or come to Boston and deal with the diva IT... Oh I get it, you prefer him to go to the Clips and be with the great coach Rivers that everyone seems to want to run from lately..

KD made the best decision of his life.

Top 5-10? I don't think I've seen any conversation putting him in that type of company. If anything, his accomplishments from last season aren't as celebrated due to how good the Warriors were before he got there. I mean, instead of spending his summer celebrating his championship and Finals MVP award, he spent it on social media replying to trolls using fake twitter and instagram accounts (which again, were indicators of his cowardly behaviour).

He'll need to win another 2 chips before he gets vaulted into the conversation for top 5-10. Joining a 73-9 team and winning it all has most people saying BFD.

Durant. He went to a team that had won a championship without him. At least Lebron went to teams that hadn't won championships before he arrived. When he went to Miami, the only guys left over from the 2006 championship team were Wade and Haslem. When he went to Cleveland, he was going to a team that hadn't made the playoffs since he left them in 2010.

Lebron IMO. Durant's decision was a singular bigger bitch than Lebron's, but Lebron paved the way for Star players in their prime to leave a team and create a superteam elsewhere. Superteams were supposed to be created by teams trading for one. Now you can start to see superstars / franchise players wanting to team up instead of beat one.

This Kawhi situation is strange but after going deeper on the topic i think this is similar to IT's situation where the doctors cleared him to play but Kawhi was still feeling pain after games. So i think the disconnect is between Kawhi and the medical staff.

I’m on the all in on Kawhi train. Whatever it should take bar Kyrie and Hayward, Ainge should be all over that in the summer. Would only put Lebron,KD and Steph above Kawhi for sure.

Honestly, I think this is more like the Tom Brady Bill Belichik disconnect, where there is 20% disconnect and 80% hype.

Idk, Brady and Belichick are the undisputed GOATs so that **** doesn't matter much. There is clearly trouble in SA.

PHO down 4 to 24 against LAC.
edit: 5 to 29. Probably not the time to check on my fantasy guys on the Suns.
edit: 5 to 31. This surpasses the 2nd-half run the Spurs put on us in Nov 2004 that was the worst beat-down I could remember, and the origin of my moniker here.
