Well what about the “DeKobe” threads? Or the VanVleet/Siakam threads?

I dont mind the Raptors sub forum, the GB

True. My current favorite has to be the "Why the Raptors might just be a real contender" thread. Classic.

I think by contender they mean contender for the Eastern Conference champions banner.

Nope. Read through it and witness the metrics they come up with to “prove” they’re better than GSW. It’s pretty entertaining

Go check out their thread where they're comparing trade assets between the Celtics and Raps. They have better trade assets because the advanced metrics of their young players are better than the Celtics' young players. Lmao.

Yeah I’ve read that. I actually like OG. Not sure why he didn’t get into the future stars game. But the people who believe he’s better than Tatum are ridiculous. Kudos to the management there for keeping them relevant but let’s be real here VanVleet is a JAG as is Siakam.

Parker looked good in his return, still explosive. Hope he can stay healthy. Kid's a beast. Injuries tho. :(
Good assessment:

PLO wrote:Tatum played OK - took advantage of a few mismatches - decent on the defensive end. He is what we thought he was going into the season - a technically very proficient player operating close to his career ceiling as a rookie.

Disagree heavily on VanVleet. He is undersized but a good back-up point guard. Dude can play.

I second this. I haven't been watching him on the Raps, but the guy was an outstanding college player who both carried and led some dominant Wichita State teams. Physical/athletic limitations were the only things that were going to prevent him from having a long NBA career.

So far this season, the Raps are actually 13.3 points better (per 100 poss) with VanVleet on the floor than with Lowry on the floor.

I am shocked - shocked - to find that a starter on a Tom Thibodeau team hurt his knee!

Torn meniscus for Jimmy B. Sucks that three of my fave players (GH, KL, JB) are down (and probably out for the season). They've been a different team since he joined. Will Thibs ever change his approach re PT management?
