Teague has looked great... his defense is not good but he’s playing well enough offensively to make up

Towns has been garbage. His indecision on pick and roll defense leaves him not impacting any part of the action.

Towns most definitely did NOT travel there. Never moved his pivot foot!

I'm starting to worry that KAT might not be very smart

id rather see aldrich than watch kat defend right now. he constantly is lost or gets in the way of his own teammates.

An optimist itt

This team's absolute ceiling is getting swept in the 2nd round and losing each game by 25 points. Yay. Was totally worth giving up the future to peak with that. /drunk

We do not play good defense. That is on Thibs at this point. Players need to do it, and it’s a process to play better and better, but he’s had 1.5 seasons and we just don’t have defensive identity.

Yes worse without Jimmy but it’s a 12 man thing.

Cannot believe we traded 21 year old Zach Lavine. At least Markkanen (my favorite prospect) is playing like ****.

It's a KAT thing. Have you watched him?

Aldrich is terrible on defense too tho. Like he's better than Towns but he's not like good or anything.

You can only tell players to play defense, if the players don't want to do it the only thing you can do is trade them because this team doesn't have the depth to just sit players and still be decent.

I’ve watched almost every game this year and last. If you think it’s purely one player you’ve got blinders on.

Who on our team plays good defense? I’ll wait.

I don’t know what Thibs can do when Towns plays this kind of defense. His mistakes are focus and decision making mistakes. He was stuck in no mans land twice in the last 4 minutes of that quarter, then another time he didn’t commit to keeping the ballhandker in pick and roll out of the paint with the guard trailing, then tried getting back to his man before realizing they ball handler was going right at the basket which also blocked Teague from defending anything.
