Yes worse without Jimmy but it’s a 12 man thing.

It's a KAT thing. Have you watched him?

I’ve watched almost every game this year and last. If you think it’s purely one player you’ve got blinders on.

Who on our team plays good defense? I’ll wait.

Butler, Taj, Tyus, MGH(not bad).

It was telling that when the Wolves went on a run of being a top 5 defense, Towns was great. The Wolves D goes as Towns goes

Tyus? No, he does not play good defense. Effort is ok, but he’s a minus defender.

I already stated Taj and Butler.

Mgh is fine but he’s no Marcus Smart.

Ok so that’s 4 guys and it’s a 12 man roster. My point is that defense is a team effort and we don’t have it. That’s on the coach.

Aldrich is terrible on defense too tho. Like he's better than Towns but he's not like good or anything.

Really? Two years ago, Aldrich led the NBA in DRPM.

Tyus Jones

BS. Tyus gets eaten up by fast guards and big guards alike. Love the dude but he’s a career backup.

Well, it's on the GM/Owner since the owner has to OK players being moved or not moved. The coach can't sprinkle magic defense dust on players to make them give effort on defense. Minnesota needs a high effort guy off the bench to help get people going.

Idk if this is selfishness or what but it isn’t a good look for Towns. He should be ashamed.

I don’t know what Thibs can do when Towns plays this kind of defense. His mistakes are focus and decision making mistakes. He was stuck in no mans land twice in the last 4 minutes of that quarter, then another time he didn’t commit to keeping the ballhandker in pick and roll out of the paint with the guard trailing, then tried getting back to his man before realizing they ball handler was going right at the basket which also blocked Teague from defending anything.

Agree with you, KAT has been bad and hasn’t shown enough. I’m frustrated with him too.

At least Teague and Wiggins showed up tonight. KAT has been a total wreck this last 2 or so games

One of the reasons I loved Dunn so much is that he was a defensive machine, would have loved to have had him backing up Teague. Perfect fit for our team.

Hope he has a long and productive career.

I like him as a 2. Great defense, tons of grit.

Yeah defensively he could do either. Offensively not sure he’s a great fit for 1 or 2, needs to figure it out.
