Well, a game to forget. Westbrook way too passive on offense and forgot to play defense (which he did so well first 2 games). Only Adams was really there (and I liked Melo's mindset tbh).

Credits to GSW defense too obviously but we missed so many open shots/lay ups :banghead:

PG was off or this is there’s for the taking.

They really could use one more reliable double digit scorer every night.

And a lockdown wing.

And a back up C.

Presti has some work to do this summer. I’m assuming they’d only have the taxpayer MLE & vet mins? The Sabonis exception expires on 6/30.

I tried. I just can't bring myself to care about regular season games against the Warriors anymore. Down by 21 and I couldn't care less. Paul George decided to lay an egg and Russ is playing like he did in Sacramento. I would be more invested if it was a bad team, but you play badly against Golden state and you WILL lose the game. No late game heroic voodoo will save you.

It also doesn't help that Paul George all of a sudden forgot how to make a basket. Really, I'd call it a semi-miracle that we're only down by 7 at the half with PG and Russ shooting a combined 2/19 from the floor. If that doesn't pick up in the second half, we'll end up losing this game by 25+.

I need to change the part about losing by 25+ to losing by 30+.

Good job Presti, you bleeping moron. How in the world you thought this team would be ok to "stay as is" at the deadline is beyond me. For every brilliant decision/move he makes, he seemingly makes two stupid ones to replace it.

25 games left in the season and we're at our absolute worst. Just tank and get in the lottery and pray for a miracle with Paul George.

And you'll lose by 30 like we're about to.

We have the talent to scrape out close wins or lose close games against terrible teams (which has been what we've done all season), but now in our last two games against legit teams we've laid big fat eggs and we've lost handily.

I dont know why russ is so maddening for me to watch. PG played absolutely horrible but it’s easier for me to chalk it up to an off night. With Russ, it’s can feel as if a member of the opposing team is wearing his jersey and trying to sabotage us. I presume this is a result of his high usage.

In a mud fight where your big guns are struggling I think you should get your defenders out there.

Ok. I just don’t know what to make of Pattterson. He seems so reluctant to shoot the damn ball sometimes I’m not sure his defense is valuable enough if he isn’t delivering on the other end.

Paul George + Russell Westbrook =

5/29 FG, 2/14 3P, 20 points, 6 turnovers

We won't beat even the worst team in the league in a game those two play that damn horribly.

Yeah he’s got to let it fly.
