Jackson never came back in... And he was on Lillard earlier in and was doing a decent job.

I think this is a silent tank jobi think.

We didn't need to slow down the game so much in the final five minutes. We didn't run any play other than ISO Book, they are better than us at that game with Lillard and McCollum.

Great effort but at the end of the day another bad loss, and we don't get any confidence back. Confidence is all about victories.

I was questioning that. No reason why Jackson shouldn't be in towards the end of the game for defense when he was doing a good job. the Shaq sub just seemed weird. Very stealthy

We tried hard to win but we are a really bad team. Plain and simple. Jackson didn't play a good game tonight, that's why he didn't play too much.

I would love to change this roster a lot for next season, there are only around four or five players that I want back next season. So many G-League guys and "veteran's presence".

Jackson took a back seat to a a lot of players tonight.

I notice he was more focused defensively than offensively... He was happy to pass off some usual spots he would drive at. But Blazers did have the tall lanky forwards that can bother him.

Still... He was doing OK against Millard earlier...

Shaq was doing a really good job defensively the previous game too, he doesn't attempt many shots but I hope he can be at least average in scoring ability.

I dont know if Paytons stats will hold, but if they do, damn good job with the steal from Orlando. The Blazers have two Magic castoffs who are solid performers, combine that with Dipo and it really shows that the Magic are one of the worst player development teams in the league. It also bodes well for Payton in Phoenix....

But dude should cut the hair. That stuff looks stupid.

I really hope the Suns don’t hire Triano. Would like him as an assistant but too nice of a coach. I would have yanked Chriss out after that stupid goaltend.

After Jackson got his tech, Triano took him out, wish he would coach Chriss like that.

Trade the farm (Bender, Chriss, all draft picks) for Damien Lillard, Anthony Davis or KAT.

Booker does make a number of questionable decisions. As long as he can see his errors and where he needs to improve rather than just being ok with it because he gets to be the man and some of the shots went in then he will be fine.

Dame isnt available for anything the Suns could offer. Dont even think the Blazers would swap Dame for Booker given what Damian means to the franchise. Dont think you would get Davis and definitely wouldnt get KAT for anything the Suns could patch together, even with every player and asset on the table. KAT is one of the most untouchable players in the league next to Greek Freak.

That said, youre right, Triano would be an awful "we don't care" hire by the Suns. They should look for an up and coming college coach like the Celtics did. Someone with a fresh perspective who can grow with the team.

It's funny that nearly all of Triano's former teams fans (Raptors & Blazers) fans all realize he would be terrible as a full time head coach yet there's still so many Suns fans that have blind faith in him.

But your "we don't care" is right. Robert Sarver has never in his life actually paid top $ for a head coach. Under his tenure, Suns head coaches have always ranked among the bottom ones in the league in pay. That's just how he operates, he doesn't believe in having to pay high $$ for a good head coach.

I'm a longtime NBA fan, i well know the penny pinching ways of Robert $aver. I'm sure he probably will hire Triano because of the bottom line. That said, what i listed is what they should do, not what they will do.

I truly feel for Suns fans for how awful the ownership is there. It's not the worst (thanks Kings), but its top 3.

.

This is true.

We want and need a good coach but those coaches earn good money. Sarver does not want to pay for coaches or GMs.
It is a shame, because it is sooo important for the organization.

Donovan Mitchell reminds me of Lillard a lot But bigger version. And this current Lillard is already a beast and a half... Well done Utah. Hope he helps them long term... Great timing after the Hayward fiasco.

The silent tank job cannot become an excuse for dropping games like this.

Sarver hasn't been cheap in like 15 years. He spent like crazy after letting Amare go.

Return to Phoenix Suns
