SVG sent Pistons' 2018 1st to LAC for Blake. Is there some degree of protection on that pick?

top 4 protected.

Looks like Clippers are going to get a decent pick this year

Planning his summer. Making reservations for his soon-to be-retirement party... after he's fired <--- also planned that.

I said this at the time... You bring in guys who are comparable talent-wise to the players you already have taking those minutes and it just causes problems. When it was just a few guys coming off the bench and everyone was playing 20+mpg, the bench was playing great. Now no one knows if or when they're coming in the game, and they have to look over their shoulder everytime they miss a shot or make a mistake. Plus it sends the defense out of whack because they haven't played as much together.

Not to mention Stan was obviously going to over-play his pet, Jameer, who has done nothing to earn minutes on this team over anyone.

Everybody talking about how the Hornets are a lottery team, yet they have 1 less win than us.

Pretty sure we are closer to the 10th pick than the 8th seed

Swagger is definitely gone with the way Galloway/Kennard/Tolliver were playing a big was the only security needed. Now the team needs a new identity SVG should consider starting Kennard and Ennis over Smith and Johnson.

Kennard/Smith
Bullock/Galloway
Ennis/Johnson
Griffin/Tolliver
Drummond/Moreland

Losing to us would be pretty embarrassing too, so I think it applies.

The lack of a breakdown the defense perimeter player is showing now. Blake has always played with one because even when Paul was hurt he had Crawford. Even before then Blake had Baron, Gordon and Mo Williams.

Jerry West is a Mafia boss the way he did SVG.

He knew Blake had empty stats.
He knew this was a historic draft class.
He knew we would miss the playoffs yet not have enough time to lose enough to crack the top 4 picks.
Took his best offensive player too.

Jerry West is building his 4th dynasty off SVG. Not even counting his chip as a player! He put SVG in a trick bag that's why he's the logo!
You need 2-way wings, 2-way shooting bigs, and you can't allow low iq players on the court. Assist/turnover ratio is crucial. Shooting point guards are icing on the cake IF they are plus defenders.
Weaver & Casey, govern yourselves accordingly!

Didnt watch the game. Reading the comments and looking at the box score it was another bad one. I think we can all agree its time to fire SVG. Its not just losing this team is doing their barely beating tank teams, and getting destroyed by decent teams.

We may not have a draft pick or any salary cap but we still can have hope. We just need to get a new guy making decisions in. We cant afford another offseason and deadline of SVG making decisions.

The only way this season is a success is if we get that top 4 pick.
