Not a good matchup for the Nuggets, would’ve really liked to see a healthy Millsap in this one but still a bit early. Seems like a scheduled loss, looking for a good effort here. We just can’t let them jump out on us early like has been the case so far. And let’s see if Plumlee can got up on Capella this game

Totally agreed; "not a good matchup for the Nuggets" but I'm mixed on the value of Millsap. Speed and quickness are not his forte although his IQ usually covers just fine. "We just can't let them jump out on us early" - so true. I'm hoping Malone doesn't start Plumlee on Capella. I'll trust Jokic's IQ to deal with Capella - or deal with him well enough.

I think this is a game where Chandler at PF could be a good thing, if he's engaged. Faried & Lyles might be better PFs because of their mobility.

Looks like SGDD, getting run right now. Harden out to make a statement, GHarris out to lunch so far.

Harden with 27 at the half, makes you wonder if his momma had a bad ski trip here or something ?? Dude is putting a hurt on the Nuggs. Joker and Harris are off tonight, seems like another bad sign

Nice comeback that falls short, got it dow to within 4 in the closing minutes. 3-pt shooting the big difference here with Gary having a poor shooting night, 5 steals though

Jokic played worst 1st half this month (bad fg%, 1st assist just 2 minutes before the end of the half), and he reached tonight career-high number of missed putback layups (refs should at least twice to call fouls), but he was the best player in 2nd half, even finished +4 on +/-, with good 21-14-8 numbers if we ignore fg%. If Nuggets won this match Jokic would be 99% Western Conference February MVP, but now Harden has better chances (and A.Davis equal).

So if we should blame someone tonight it is awful Devin Harris miniature in the 1st quarter. In only 4 minutes he committed 4 shooting fouls for 3, 3+1, 2+1, 3!? I think Harden scored just 3 points in opening 8 minutes but then scored 14 in just 3 minutes when wrong Harris is on the court. Gary Harris played his worst offensive game of this season and especially is painful his open 3 miss 100 seconds before the end where the opportunity for -1 is wasted. But he has enough credit this season to have one bad night as our arguably most consistent player this season.

Also, our 16-24 from free throws are really awful. But I don't want to be negative... we almost beat NBA #1 after -18 deficit, big credit to guys for their efforts after so bad 1st quarter. Tuesday match vs Clippers is now "must win" for Nuggets. They should stay positive and proud of how they playing this month and win vs our direct WEST-TOP8 rival would be a huge step for our playoff hopes.

It just seems as though Houston has Denver's number simply because they take advantage of mis-matches, better than most teams. Add in the fact that Denver is terrible at switching away from mis-matches, it's just a bad matchup.

Houston IS the best team in the NBA right now, seem like they’re a nightmare matchup for a lot of teams, not just us. Given we are still without Millsap, Jokic had a poor 1st half and our SG’s didn’t seem to know how to shoot losing by 5pts doesn’t seem like a terrible prospect for the playoffs

I hate Houston and their flopping on the offensive end , they are horrible match up for Denver right now, its going to be an easy sweep for Houston if Denver face them in the first round.
