Nobody is saying it yet but Mitchell may have a much higher ceiling than Hayward, especially on the defensive end.

Elfrid Payton is actually growing that stupid mop at the front of his head. It's stupid, and if I were his coach, I'd tell him he's benched until he cuts it all off. If he doesn't then shave his stupid head in his sleep.

Dude is a plonker. Pizzes me off.

I’m gonna say no. He has a serious medical condition and I don’t want him dropping dead on the court...and I’m not even joking. What he’s dealing with is so serious that the NBA doctors won’t even clear him to play last I heard.

Why trade for Willy Hernangomez if you're not going to play him? The Bobcats are a mess.

The only thing that describes IT's behavior this year is prescription drugs. Test that man.

I'd like to throw a shout out to this "amazing" ankle breaker from Harden on Wesley Johnson yesterday. The internet seems to be melting down with how amazing it was. I personally think that it's ridiculous, as Harden clearly shoves and pushes Johnson backwards causes him to fall. Should have been an offensive foul, have no idea how the refs missed that. It wasn't even sneaky like MJ's last Bulls shot on Russell, it was a clear bully shove from Harden.

That is all.

Yeah he does that a lot, shove off.

Will be interesting to see if they start calling that at some point. His step backs have been a potent weapon this season but he's shoving most of the time now.

Someone else has been doing that a lot this season too but can't think of it at the top of my head.

Lebron goes for bully ball, shoving all the time and now complains he isn't getting all the calls when he drives.

agreed on the move

but the whole stop and stare thing was amazing. Probably the most disrespectful thing Ive seen on a court since Shawn Kemp regularly murdered our dudes on dunks

Pretty cool and intense that the 3 through 7 seeds in the west are within 1 game of each other at this stage of the season.

Yeah, kind of awesome.....I don't know about you, but I'm not all hung up on getting the number one seed. I don't want to play OKC in the first round though. Not because we can't beat them, but it would definitely take more out of our players to get it done. There's just so much emotion attached to playing those guys.

You just compared him to the best shot blocking guard of his era, high praise even if remotely true

The 2 second stare down by harden dwarfs anything that came before it. Amazing.

Also if ot but if you haven’t watched any of sb nation’s nba beef history on YouTube check them out. They break down feuds between lambeer and Barkley, Kidd-mash-JJ beef, and Bron vs DeShawn. They only have like 4-5 vids about 7-10 min long but they’re all interesting. Worth it.

It didn't warrant it though. Harden pushed him to the ground which was a cheap offensive move which he was just lucky to get away with. Staring him down after the cheap move wasn't bad-ass or anything like that for mine, it was rubbing it into the face of the defender that didn't get his ankles broken, rather pushed to the ground by a missed call from the refs.

I hate Wes Johnson's reaction to it all though. He got up and laughed like he had been done in by James. When he watched the replay back he may have felt differently about it all seeing he had been shoved. Either way, Johnson's competitive awareness was the biggest loser here. If that were me and Harden launched me to the ground like that after playing good, tight defence, I would have jumped to my feet and gotten into Harden's face yelling at him and pointing in his face aggressively. I would have taken a tech to let the refs, league, fans, and Harden know that the only way he could get rid of my stifling defence was to bully shove me to the ground.

Weak sauce Wesley, that's why you've never lived up to your potential. Double soft weakling mentality.

Actually, CP3 pushes off a lot too with his offhand, especially when he gets into the paint.

In one of the Warriors games, he was getting away with it all game long until he got called for offensive foul against West of all people.

Announcers were all like "look at him break David West's ankle" but it was a big push off.

In previous years Harden wasn't doing it that much because he was more about getting the defenders arms entangled in order to get cheap fouls on them.

He still does that of course but the step-back jumpers have been huge for him this year and he's shooting better than last season, especially from 3 and a lot of those attempts involve the push off.

So he probably learned it from Paul, or maybe since he wasn't suppose to get as many calls with the tactics he used last year when driving to the hole, he's looking to use the step back more.
