I find this very insulting to turnstiles. At least most turnstiles offer a tad bit of resistance. Greg Monroe, on the other hand, offers absolutely none.

This is true. I know from experience.

AD currently throwing down a casual 53 and 17. I don't think we're ever getting him to be honest. But the AD trade threads that appear are dumb. Of course you give up whatever to get him.

Mavs tried to tank a game vs. the Pacers after having a solid lead. Mavs blow it and still end up winning in the end after letting Indy come back.

When does buyout period end (for guys who want to clear waivers and get signed onto a team that can use them in the postseason)?

I believe they need to be bought out before March 1st, but they can sign after to be eligible. But, of course I could be wrong.

I have yet to see anything substantial that says Carter is getting bought out. Unless he specifically asks for it, it makes no sense. He's not a malcontent and is beloved everywhere he goes. Kings have no reason to buy him out imo.

No they really dont have a reason to.

But it is the right thing to do, imo.

He can go to a contender, he has earned it.

Word. Take this trash idea back to the Raptors board. Vince is done. He sucks and brings nothing to the table.

No need to pile on Moose but yeah no on Vince. You add players on the buyout market that help your team, not just guys who can mentor.

Wouldn't have said anything but the part about Vince "deserving" to play for a contender irked me. Guy quit on his team and killed his trade value. The basketball gods shouldn't let that go. He can go get his number retired in Toronto but that's it. No rings or Finals appearances for that guy. Besides, if winning was so important for him, then maybe he should have signed with a contender instead of just taking the biggest bag of money that was offered to him.

I mean he did go to Orlando, who was a contender at the time (though not on the Celtics/Lakers level). But yeah, the guy lived off his Dunk Contest label for too long and never really got out of that to prove he was a winning superstar. Let's face it, New Jersey replacing Kittles with him actually hurt their team.

on the court I think so, but I really like the idea of Vince working with Brown, Rozier etc.

He has alot of knowledge and is a very good mentor.

I think Lineup is more than set at this point and wouldn't expect any changes to it.

actually he stated that playing time and mentorship was the motivating factors in relation to the last contract he signed.

Yeah he wanted to pad his stats too. Completely forgot about that point. As for mentorship.........looks like he's doing a **** job thus far.
