The new GM inherits a roster that is tough to shape. Cho dangled MKG, Batum and Marvin but nobody would bite. The new GM will have to trade for fit, targeting comparable role players.

How about Marvin for Brandon Knight?

It gives the team a legit backup PG for a player not worth a draft pick obviously. The team has so little flexibility I'd hate to end up with another MCW. The team will be trying to make the playoffs next year, and they need a backup PG to do that.

I would 100% do that trade if Knight’s rehab is going well but I don’t know. It usually takes a player about 2-3 seasons to return to form from a torn ACL so I’d probably pass. However that’s the kind of trade we need to be trying to find.

I remember when other teams fans, I believe it was Detroit, would post how Knight was superior to Kemba. Funny how things worked out. I'd probably make this trade, especially if Kaminsky can continue to play with more consistency.

I think we're underestimating just how bad Brandon Knight is...

So yeah he's the obvious pick to succeed MCW, but in no way should we trade Marvin for him.

Knight has played his best ball as a primary ball handler. He's been really bad as an off-ball guard, which was his primary role in Phoenix. I think that he would pair better with Kemba since Walker is really good at playing off the ball.

In any event Knight is more than qualified to be the bench PG and had decent enough numbers as a starter to potentially step into the starting lineup if Kemba were injured.

I would be hesitant to trade Marv for him, but would probably do it. Would rather trade Howard.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Only reason why I’d be hesitant on such a deal is because I don’t think Knight will be ready at the start of next season and certainly will miss training camp.

I thought he looked real good in Milwaukee before Kidd traded him for MCW lol.

However with injury concerns and his contract I’d easily swing for Trey Burke this offseason. He’s looking good in NY and coming into his own like most young point guards after about 3+ seasons to adapt to the NBA game.

Is there any type of trade we can do to get Jabari Parker from the Bucks this offseason?
