I like Ben and as an Aussie I hope he succeeds but dude needs to learn how to put the ball in the basket beyond 15ft or something.

He’ll learn. Already been pretty successful as a rook, I’d be surprised if he never develops a semi dependable midrange game. The 3 ball may be asking a bit much though.

Went to sleep thinking the Heat lost, happy to wake up to a win. That non-call on goal tending was bs. Especially since the ref was right in the line of sight. Woulda not been happy if the Heat lost by 2 or less.

explain this bish

Winslow +2
Wade -16

Joking aside, McGruder will probably take mins away from Winslow if Winslow keeps disappearing like last night (I didn't get to watch until mid-3Q, but I'm sure he didn't play a single minute while I was watching until the last second defensive sub). And maybe KO and Bam will play more and JJ less, but honestly who knows with Spo's rotation Panda :dontknow:

Ben Simmons needs to stop messing around and start shooting jumpers and free throws right handed :noway:

As sixers fan. I could (and everyone else should have seen). Wade was feeling it at the end of the game.

Fantastic decision to intentionally foul Simmons knowing full well sixers would drain the clock to 5 seconds and try to score on their last possession with 26 seconds left.

Saric/reddick are 90% free throw shooters. Covington isn’t far behind at 85%? Embiid is 78%. Simmons 56% free throw shooter.

More than likely sixers would get fouled and shoot 2 free throw shots. So rather take ur chances with Simmons than the other 4 guys.

Don’t know why teams don’t employ hack a Simmons even more especially after the wizards fouled him to the tune of 29 free throws.

Simmons is a liability at the end of a close game at the line. Sure. He made 2 free throws against Chicago last week with game on the line. But u rather take ur chances with him on the line than the other four sixers.

Likely, Bam and Ellington not playing allowed for so many guys to touch the floor. If Winslow loses that starting spot, it's the shadow realm for him

I was pleasantly surprised that Spo went with the Hassan and KO combo to close out last night. I see no reason for KO not to take Winslow's place in the starting lineup from here on out. KO is such a key contributor to this team that he needs to be playing starters minutes. Now let's not let JJ off the hook here. He's been absolutely horrid. What Spo should do is consolidate the power rotation to Hassan, KO, and Bam with a little sprinkle 10-15 minutes of JJ. Bam should not be getting his minutes taken away from JJ at this point.

Why Bam is wrapped? Maybe he had some minor back issue and that's why he didn't play much and didn't look good while on the floor.

Well that makes more sense why he only played 7 minutes

I only hate the Lakers and Kobe more than the Heat and Wade, but that was an awesome win. I'm sure the family of the kid who was buried in Wade's jersey was appreciative. The shooting was a horrible event and its fantastic to see that the kids who lived are fighting for real change for their fallen peers.

I've never celebrated a Heat win, and in fact actively root for your franchise to fail in every way, but I was pulling hard for the Heat and Wade last night. Cheers.

Nice catch! Was wondering about his PT as well. Hope it is not anything too serious.

Plus he seems really happy to greet Wade there
