Is Bamba going to put numbers like these next season? Better? Or, might he be similar to Nerlens Noel?
None of that really matters I just wanted to point out that Jarrett Allen is not a Wizard. He MIGHT HAVE BEEN if others had a better understanding.
Despite his size, Allen wasn't a real good shot-blocker in college, and I think Bamba's going to lead the league. My physical criticism of Allen is that he takes a while to get off the ground when he jumps - he needs to gather himself - so I think his ceiling is somewhat limited - though he's already becoming a solid starting center. Bamba's a bigger/longer/stronger version of Noel and with a better shooting touch. His length is... absurd. And he's actually showed college 3 point range. But I can't say he'll excel as a rookie - there's going to be a learning curve for him. I expect Ayton will have a better rookie year - he seems more NBA ready - particularly on offense.
