Good to get rid of a scrub. Once a solid player, he is no longer a useful player for us.

A reunion with his former college coach, Billy Donovan, in Oklahoma City is a serious possibility, league sources tell Wojnarowski.

Brewer will talk to other teams, but the Thunder are an early front-runner, sources tell Wojnarowski.

Interesting... I wonder if that would have any recruiting or deflection implications to PG13 if he goes to OKC

I'd think his time here wasn't that bad and he'd like Luke, but then again we hosed his streak.

Let's a solid vet out in time for a stint on a playoff team... I liked him. Not really sad to see him go, but wouldn't have minded seeing more of him this season.

Wonder who's next? Frye?

He was already a free agent at the end of the year.

I'm not sure there was an actual benefit to us, just letting Corey go because he wants to play.

It does open up a roster spot if we want to bring in someone we really like from the G league?

Not sure you'd want to go to OKC though. They aren't even a lock to making the playoffs right now.

Wish him the best. Never complained, solid teammate. But truthfully, his name for a buy out, wasn't the one I was looking or hoping for.

Usually when someone takes a buyout they leave some salary on the board for the remainder of the season. In brewers case its the final 24 games worth of pay.

I'm a bit surprised they bought him out. I thought they would need him more now to cover for IT's lack of D.

Probably wants Houston. That's where his family stay.
