As for Austin's plus-minus in the game, I followed it throughout. At one point he was the only one in the plus, then played with the bench when they did poorly, then was benched [rightfully] by Doc during the 24-point comeback, which Ty played a lot of, not Austin. Thus, Austin finished in the red, as did all the starters except Ty, because he was in on the +25 comeback. I did not lie. You clearly misunderstood.

The link I use to follow the game is here.

Following the plus/minus during the game gives a much more informed picture than just the final totals.

Please try to keep a civil tongue, even if the board permits rudeness like Ramna's. It's just not necessary.

You claimed that Austin's +/- against Houston last night was a team-high. It wasn't even top 3 on the team. You are now bringing up a completely different game to pretend that you didn't lie about that. At least you're not trying to diminish Thornwell's play this time.

I've been very civil. Just because people are disagreeing with you doesn't mean they're being rude.

But facts are rude awakenings for snowflakes in Bizarro world. It says something about the stubbornly delusional when they take offense to facts that contradict the artificial world inside the bubble they've built for themselves.

Like I said, why bother engaging in crazy when you don't have to? Leave the dunce in the corner to his own devices.

Calling someone a liar is rude. Ramna's post above is rude.

I didn't even know what post of mine you're talking about here, but I skipped over Thornwell's 15 minutes and Dekker's 5. You're quibbling. Austin's minus- -3 was third best, and best among those who played significant minutes. And this has nothing to do with the actual discussion, which was the Denver game.

You wanna trumpet Thornwell's 4 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist vs HOU? Fine, I won't rain on your parade.

I'll trumpet it all day. Unlike Austin, he played defense and made a positive impact on the team.

Fine. I cheer for my team. I don't pit them against each other.

But that's exactly what you do by siding with Doc and Austin over the rest of the team at all times, no matter how they're coaching/playing. In this thread alone: you blamed the rest of the team for Austin's bricked free throws against the Nuggets; you dismissed Thornwell's contribution to bring us within 10 last night in order to prop up Austin some more; and you called DJ a "lame duck" and ranted about how you wanted him gone in the offseason.

You're reading me uncharitably. I praised him for a heads-up play that saved us from an inbounds violation and a turnover. He did hit 1 of 2, which helped. But I didn't blame anyone but Austin for bricking those FTs.

Yes, his FT shooting is sucking. He got up to a career-high 69% last year and has sunk to 63% this year. But if he spends his off-seasons practicing the 3, I think that's better. And BTW, Austin had mononucleosis this summer, and din't work on anything.

I'm afraid DJ is a lame duck, and I'm not the only one who thought his intensity has fallen off lately. His rebs are up slightly [due to Blake's departure?] but his FG% is down, as is his scoring. My take on DJ has been "I love the big lug, but..." when it comes to his salary. But I'm not down on him in any way.

You seem to be poking through my posts looking for gotchas rather than trying to have a discussion. My topic is the Clippers; your topic is me.

I've had my say. Austin's OK, and the facts were provided. Thanks for reading.

Not really. In fact I said if Doc had left Avery on the bench instead of Austin for the end of the Nuggets game, he'd have an arguable case. Mebbe you missed that part.

But enough about me. I'm not the topic here.
