Would be a fantastic fit next to LaVine and Lauri.

I would be very happy with Bridges if they can't land Ayton, Doncic, JJJ, or Porter.

I like him a lot also.

Would much rather have him than Young.

If Bulls guy is gone I could see them trading back similar to Ainge last season. Then selecting Mikal Bridges.

He’s the type of guy that plays the right way and will get you wins. He will be better than what his stats show.

Bridges reminds me of Brandon Rush body type.

Think he’s going to be a good starter. Deng type player.

Don’t think you can trade back and get Bridges. If we stay at eight, it’s probably between Carter and Bridges.

Damn, Mikal has some really long arms. Tony Snell with a high BBIQ, or a smaller Kyle Kuzma.

We are not competing for championships with just good players. There is no way I take Mikal over Bagley or Bamba. We need potential stars not role players.

Forgot to add Bamba to the list.

Don't like the fit with Bagley next to Lauri.

Fit doesn't matter. When you are at our stage of rebuilding you take the best talent possible. It's not like we are looking for the final piece of a contender.

That is how you end up with Sam Bowie instead of Michael Jordan.

According to the Cowley article, the Bulls FO thinks Bagley is a better fit next to Lauri than Ayton.

Ayton seems like the player who is the surest bet to go top 2 or 3. I don't think I've seen one mock where he falls lower than that. All the rest, you see occasionally dropping to 5 or 6 or even I saw Bagley at 8 recently in one. So he's the one guy we won't have a shot at unless we move up or get lucky at the lottery. All the other top guys- Doncic, Bagley, Porter, JJJ- I could see falling at least to 5 or 6.

If we end up at 6 or 7, then you just have to take whoever falls, unless the FO really doesn't like them, which I can imagine only happening with Young, and possibly Bomba. Otherwise, if Bagley or Doncic or JJJ or Porter is there when we pick at 5 or 6 or 7, we just go BPA. And I'd be thrilled to get any of them. Although JJJ probably less so, as I'm less convinced of his upside.

You do know Bowie dealt with major injuries correct?

I think he might surprise people on the next level. He's developing and could be better than just a "3 and D" player like many are calling him. Plus is a good 3 and D player all that bad? Sure it's no superstar, but a player with that skill set can help any team (and good 3 and D players are rare. Usually a player is good at one and not the other).

I think a lot of questions would be asked if the Bulls took Bagley before Ayton, assuming both were available. (Un) Luckily that's not likely to be a problem for us.

Bagley and Lauri as a offensive paring could be good together, but defensively? better hope Lauri can handle the responsibility of playing center.

Wrong. Bob Knight was quoted as saying draft Jordan and play him at center.

One day during at an Olympic practice before the June NBA draft, Knight remembered standing next to an NBA team executive, whom he refuses to identify.

"I was standing next to my friend as we watched us practice and I said, 'You're luckier than anybody could be in basketball, you have a chance to get Jordan,'" Knight said. "He said, 'Yeah, Bob, he's great, but we need a big man.' And I told him, 'Play Jordan at center and he'll lead the league in scoring. He's that good.'"

And Knight was 100% right.

If others thought he would have been the GOAT he would have went #1 over Hakeem with other teams offering their future for him.

Draft discussion getting derailed.

What if he’s a prime Ariza? That’s a great piece

We still need a core. A prime Ariza is still a role player. We need top 3 option talent. A "prime" Trevor Ariza is 14ppg player...
