Everyone knows he's passionate but it was something different about hearing him talk this interview.

It's been the talk of Twitter as well along with the latest "playing hurt" comments. I'll just say this - if he were truly "hurt" as he said he was, then it sounds more to me like he was actually "injured"... in which case he should have "sat". Players play hurt all the time. No excuses. He didn't help the team and he hurt himself as well.

I really want Dez to get back to where he was in '14. If he does, then cool. But - if what we saw last year is what Dez is now, then he's done.

Hurts to say it but I think he is already done. At least '14 done. Don't think we're ever gonna get that again. Unfortunately it appears that he is on the decline. He always works out hard so I'm not gonna buy into what he is saying. He has to say that if you think about it.
I say give him a pay cut or else move on. And we all know he won't take a pay cut.

I kinda think so too. And even if he’s not, it almost appeared to me as the season went on and the drops became more and more common place that he checked out... quit, one might say. I can’t have that on my team.

Fixed.

However, I still blame Jerry, and solely Jerry for all the past failures during this stretch despite not making himself GM in 2002. I still claim the beginning of the end was the Dionne Sanders contract. That 90's team should have won more than 3 Super Bowls.

At the risk of making it sound like I told you so 4 years ago (which I'm not because of my football love for you), I told you so. :wizard:

He’d be a great pick however I seriously doubt he’s on the board at 19.

I agree, but I would love to see Jerry take off the handcuffs and let McClay build something he truely wants and needs.

Sorry Mr. B. Being an ACC junkie, I really don't know anything about this young kid to form an opinion. Not yet anyways.

I don't either. But... if he were, he is the ONLY deviation I would make from Defense at 19.

Best WR in this draft. And it ain't close. I don't think it's a reach to use him in the same sentence with Julio Jones... another Alabama stud.

There's a lot of names that may be traded, any interest in Bennett, Austin, Landry...if the price was right.

Michael Bennett would look pretty good at DT... for the right price.

I would definitely agree with that. Although if one of the really good guards fall that might an option too.

As for Ridley, he definitely looks like the next great WR to come out of Alabama. Not nearly as big as Julio Jones though. Ridley is 6’1” 190 lbs. he’s more of a route runner with speed. He’d be a perfect fit with Dak. I’d be shocked if he makes it past 15.

Here is a video of him for those that want to see it.

A little too rich for Dallas I’m guessing...

Just read this morning about Hurst's heart issue (I avoided the combine - too much fluff to work through). Read that he's going to the Cleveland Clinic for additional tests to determine whether he can play or not.

Hate it for the kid - but good to catch this now.

Hate it for us. Takes a significant player off the boards if he's done.

Jags informed Robinson that he won't be tagged, read that the skids will be pushing to sign him.

You can him, Otis! :D

He's still a decent player for us, albeit he's about to turn 33 & can be a major headache with some of the stupid stuff that he tries to pull. Not only is he outspoken but he might just hold the record in the league for jumping offsides. Oh...And he also likes to dive at opposing lineman just for the fun of it.

Spoiler:
He's reputation of being a dirty player pretty much speaks for itself!

Honestly, I'm not gonna miss the guy! So, please! Get Jerry on the phone & have him offer us a 3rd or 4th & he's yours!

Wouldn’t be able to afford him anyway. I’d rather have David Irving and he’s not going to be affordable either. Was hoping for Via or Hurst and now it looks like Hurst is dicey at best.
