Jones loses another ball in the sun
How many more plays like this need to happen before Lou realizes Pie needs to be out there?
Not to mention Jones is not hitting for power & is not walking.. He's pretty useless. Not that it needed to be said though.

He should've flew with his wings to catch the ball at the TOP of the wall. He's totally not producing offensively today either.

He's lucky the ball did not hit him in his fat ugly head.
The ball almost hit him in the shoulder.. He didn't need to jump to the top of the fence.
That is 3 fly balls in this series he has lost in the sun. Why are we debating his defense? You cannot sit here and tell me he's been playing well defensively.
Also, his great offense in the 2nd half still has him at a .245 average.

If Pie could put up an OPS of even .700, he'd be playing every day.
This is JOCK's worst year ever by far at the plate, and he's still outperforming what Pie was doing.
It's a pretty crappy situation for a contending team, honestly. You don't want to go find a permanent solution because Pie will be that guy, but he's not ready right now. Meanwhile you have to do everything you can as a franchise to win every single game because you're in a pennant race.

Worst year every by far? Uh look at the stats.
This is a typical Jacque Jones year. He's crap.
Dude, I know you hate the guy, but to deliberately leave out slugging insults my intelligence.
OPS every year:
.789
.781
.751
.852
.797
.742
.757
.833
.650
One of these things is not like the other, one of these things just doesn't belong.....
92 OPS points below his 2nd worst year. Uh, yeah, look at the stats.
And yes, Jacque Jones is crap. Pie is just worse at this point, offensively.
