- Bridges seems too perimeter happy for a guy guarded by a PG at times and struggled to get anywhere with an average defender in terms of length and ability in Matthews in front of him. He's too willing to just power dribble and settle for a jump shot. You have to really believe in that jump shot to play and for him to slim up even more and be more a 2/3 hybrid than 3/4. Just can't advocate what he does really well at the NBA level in terms of scoring and team offense. Not a great sign that he looked better and had better numbers playing the 4 mostly and has simply been the same at the 3, especially considering the standard Big Ten 3 man is probably a SG.
- Jaren Jackson is a LONG way from developed. Post game has little feel too it, jumper mechanics are really inconsistent, relies a ton on length to grab rebounds and finish (a problem going from big ten to NBA length) and I don't see a guy who really plays at a different speed level.
At this point, I'm starting to circle back to Porter Jr and Bagley in my three/four range and even though I don't love his motor, I can't pass on the already developed skills and size that Doncic and Ayton have for their respective ages.
States PG is awful. Worse than Grant at finding people. Stalls the whole offense.
Miles looks like he can’t get around anyone off the bounce. I’d assume he’d play better w bigger court better spacing absolutely ball movement.
JJJ rarely touches the ball. He’s tough and has a strong motor. Still think he’s going be a stud.
I think top 4 in draft will be Luka Ayton Bagley MPJ.
Then someone reaches for Young at 5.
JJJ Bamba go 6-7.
JJJ would be perfect Backup C to a RoLo next season. Vet mentor. He will make an impact defensively right away. Similar to Bamba.
