This is on Thomas, not only did he stuff it up, he managed to drag us down at any chance with his inefficiency.

If he wants to complain about 20MPG, send him home to sit down for the rest of the season.

You also aren't going to win many games when you have a player from the other team going off for 40, its Lillard though so idk what to expect.

Not just on thomas... He was bad, but damn... Who kept calling Brook's number from 3? And why is Luke all gooey over IT and Lonzo being in the game at the same time? And why does Kuzma think he's still a 3pt threat?
Outside of Julius, our offense was pretty terrible tonight... We make a few more of those shots and we win this one going away.
Dame was clutch again, but I don't think our D was great on him most of the game.

Did Lonzo tweek his knee? He was holding it and flexing it down the stretch, and he didn't really look himself tonight.... You'd think with the rest they had, he'd have been fresh, but maybe the knee's bothering him again.

Tough loss no matter how you look at it. We did all the little things we needed to to win, just not the one big thing and that was hitting our wide open 3s.

I recall the them saying something about his knee on the broadcast. I really hope this is not the case

Yeah...thought we had it. Then I thought they had it. Then I thought we had it.....

Missing BI hurt. I think this was also where our 'youth' hurt us. Bummer loss...but we were right there. Prob shoulda won. I'm not a big 'moral victory' guy....but even in this loss, I think we showed we are right on par with them.

One big difference between us as them: They are maxed out next year....and we have about $75 mil we can spend.

Got tix to Wed game against Orlando.

I think we aughta ice his knee....and get him out there one more time to keep him loose. After that...I think we aughta shut him down for the season. Get that knee looked at, and sorted by Oct.

Oct.....

I guess it's cause we've blown chunks for about 5 years now....but doesn't it seem like we gotta wait half a year between seasons?! Meanwhile it feels like the Dodgers blew game 7 about 8-9 weeks ago....and here we go. I mean...we have about a month left of B-Ball...and we gotta wait till freakin Oct?!?!

Can't wait till we get our s*** together. We need to be playing in June. F this garbage.

The loss was a bummer. But we all know what's up. Brandon Ingram is the difference. His points and game play, we win. But it is what it is, we need to make sure he's safe and well healed. We all just want him to rush back, but we can't. Patience. We must proceed with caution in regards to BIs health. With Brandon, we take care of business and close out.

I think Deep said it.

Man not having Brandon Ingram.

if we had Brandon Ingram we had a guy who can get to the basket and get his own shot create his own shot.

The issue with Kuzma is he still can't create his own shot and really break you down off the dribble and go to the hoop like Ingram can.

His Rushed three was bad.

Isiah Isiah I'm going to give him props and call it out when I see bad play. The missed free throw was bull. kind of just yanked it out there like kind of surprised how he shot that.

then his turnover you can't have that gotta get that shot up. Lopez probably should've took it.

Let's look at it like this. Kind of surprising coming from me. but Lonzo has to be a focal point of the offense. he has to be aggressive and take shots. pull up three's take the three's. that last possession I wanted Lonzo taking that shot. his shot actually has a big jump over someone trying to block it. so it kind of comes in like a rainbow that's why you see a lot of his shots swish. on that last possession he shouldn't be taking out the ball you need him to iniate the offense. take the three or find someone for the Three. would've liked to see a tall guy like Lopez taking that ball out who can see over the guy leaping.

You gotta do your scouting Lakers coaches a couple of weeks ago Phoenix had the same situation with the inbound they called a timeout allowed Portland to set and got a five second Portland gets the ball to Lilard and wins on a buzzer beater.

Tonight if you look at Tape. Don't call the timeout and allow Portland to set their defense on the inbound. a lot better if you just let Lonzo go and find somebody or pull up.

Lilard Happened we got Lilard simple as that Fourth Quarter was his you knew it was coming and he went crazy single handly took the game over he did the same thing in Phoenix that's why I have this guy on My fantasy team. he's just a Baller. the step back three Randle couldn't do anything. and his skill to get his perfect spot and form is textbook and swish great shooting form.

We played great Randle was great. he's going to get paid by us. would've liked to see Lonzo take more shots and score more. he's gotta be more aggressive.

Caldwell Pope I don't know what he was doing out there. his new nickname is black Panther cause he always wants to be a Hero.

and We need Brandon Ingram get back Brandon Ingram. we have Ingram we win this game with his 20 points they have no answer for him.

Isiah Sucked tonight. he got his points but he blew that game. stunk it up. I was pissed you can't have turnovers like that especially from a veteran like him. he's gotta play better and not like a Rookie. he acts like it's nothing man. you gotta get that basket in. you gotta get the points.

Blazers fans can celebrate it on the streets now, they've already won the season series. Anyways, I'm happy with our team, we just lost to the hottest team in the league (apart from Houston) due to poor decisions at the end.

The loss was a bummer, but not a negative for me at all.

We arguably should have won the game and that's even with Lillard going off and showing why he's one of the best scorers in the league, Isaiah missing shots he normally makes and oh yeah, we were without our best wing player and one of our top rotation guys.

Dust yourselves off, move on.

Lakers win 5 straight while I’m out of the country. I come back home last night and finally catch a game only for them to lose. :nonono:

We win this with BI and Hart playing down the stretch. Tough loss but I love this freaking squad man.

That one hurt.
Just too much Lilard at the end.
I’m not sure I’d pin this on any one person but I’d have loved to see a better defensive scheme at the end to keep the ball out of his hands when he got hot.
I loved how we competed though.
IT missing the free throw at the end and the two offensive rebounds were a dagger.
They’ll learn from this and we’ll be better because if that loss.

What drives me nuts is that we had three steals in the first half of the first quarter and twice we shoot from three, both misses. Take it to the hoop! Five minutes in the game, three steals, resulting in 1 point. Ugh!

And you can see from how little I post, how much it bothers me

This was a growing pains lost imo. Hopefully we can improve from it. It's easy to be high on wins.. but when losses come..how do we act? Lonzo was pouting a bit towards the end which troubles me a tad bit. IT is just meme worthy. We'll see though.

He took full blame for letting Dame go off and I can respect that. At least he acknowledges that he is somewhat to blame and that’s what good leaders do.

Time... To implement the triangle

That'll curb some of any ball dominant guard's worst impulses

All that and no Ingram and the Lakers still had a chance to win down 3 with a free throw and the ball.

After the foul, KCP started towards the free throw line and Thomas called him off. If youre gonna call someone off the line, you better hit it.

Also there is a huge difference having to defend the 2 and 3 verse just having to guard the 3. The area you have to cover becomes drastically smaller. That missed free throw killed the Lakers chances of winning.
