I can see him and Alex Smith forming a dynamic duo...

You can him, Otis! :D

He's still a decent player for us, albeit he's about to turn 33 & can be a major headache with some of the stupid stuff that he tries to pull. Not only is he outspoken but he might just hold the record in the league for jumping offsides. Oh...And he also likes to dive at opposing lineman just for the fun of it.

Spoiler:
He's reputation of being a dirty player pretty much speaks for itself!

Honestly, I'm not gonna miss the guy! So, please! Get Jerry on the phone & have him offer us a 3rd or 4th & he's yours!

Wouldn’t be able to afford him anyway. I’d rather have David Irving and he’s not going to be affordable either. Was hoping for Via or Hurst and now it looks like Hurst is dicey at best.

It looks like you guys have little to no cap space at the moment. Well...12K to be precise.

Dallas Cowboys: $12,247

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000919680/article/nfl-salary-cap-for-2018-season-set-at-1772-million

Vita Vea will be long gone by the time one of us picks.

Yep. When they placed the franchise tag on Lawrence, that exhausted the cap space they had. Puts a premium on getting him signed to a long term deal. They still have to do Martin’s deal as well so there will be some contracts reworked.

Still paying Romo. That’s all you need to know about how much dead money they have.

A 17 million cap number on Lawrence. That's crazy.

If you guys let Dez go, it should help a little ($8.5 in cap savings).

One way or another... Dez is taking a pay cut.

Which means that Hurst will absolutely get picked by the Cowboys in the 2nd round.

The Cowboys won’t pick Vita Vea even if he did make it to 19. He doesn’t fit Marinelli’s system. It’s why his system is flawed.

Bennett to the Eagles for a 5th rounder, their defensive line just got even better.

Once again, Jerry's great contracts always comes back to haunt us, :banghead:

On paper yes but how old is Bennett now? Also can he keep from getting himself arrested for being an idiot? Not a bad deal at all for the Eagles but I’m not certain he will be all that successful.

He'll be 33. He's coming off a foot injury. I think injuries will definitely be an issue going forward for him. He had 8 sacks last year. But, he's also played a lot of snaps.

The thing with the trade his that he will be a part of a rotation. So, the wear and tear that he had with the Seahawks might not be as big a factor. The Eagles defense did get better, I thinking Ogletree going to the Giants is a good move for them too.

Interesting, maybe they can wait and get Richard Sherman for less.

I really don’t think they make a move to sign Sherman. I’m more interested in seeing if they trade for Earl Thomas.

I don't see Seattle complete getting rid of their entire secondary unit and if you had to keep one, i'd probably keep Earl.

Reports are that they are listening to offers. They apparently want a lot in return though. I’d like the Cowboys to trade for him but not at a heavy price. I’d say 4th round max.

Aquib Talib just got traded to the Rams for a 5th round pick. Marcus Peters got traded for a 4th this year and a 2nd next year. So I’d say that’s the market for Thomas. A 4th and a 6th this year seems fair based on the market.

Curious as to what the Seahawks are asking... and if Picks 116 & 193 would move the needle? I'm with you - don't want to give up pick 81.

Man, we should really go after Richard Sherman, we do need a CB of his caliber.
