So some pistons fan has a hot take that we should not fire SVG and see what the pistons look like next season. Why is that worth clicking on? This guy isnt even real media its just some dude whos a homer.

So if Blake and Jackson somehow stay healthy we can be what a worse version of this years clippers next season? How is Blake/Drummond/Jackson better then Gallo/DAJ/Blake/Lou Will/Rivers? That team was a borderline playoff team and has more talent then we do.

West and the clippers moved Blake from that team because he knew it wasnt good enough and SVG made a move to become that. How does he deserve another year here?

Bad luck nothing. He knew Reggie was injury prone just like he knew Blake was injury prone just like knew Avery was injury prone.

He makes failing decisions and they are on his shoulders.

Knew RJ was going to be injured that was one of my main reasons for wanting them to draft a score first pg like Donovan Mitchell. SVG cannot see ahead of the next game, so he needs to go.
You need 2-way wings, 2-way shooting bigs, and you can't allow low iq players on the court. Assist/turnover ratio is crucial. Shooting point guards are icing on the cake IF they are plus defenders.
Weaver & Casey, govern yourselves accordingly!

SVG planned for reggie to get hurt. He signed Ish and then Galloway to big deals as insurance.

The team isn't complete toast, but they do need to make some good choices going forward (and have a bit of luck along the way). Some people forget how bad we were before the Going to Work team. We got Chauncey and Ben on basically MLE deals. We drafted Tay 23rd. Our recent comparable deals have been Leuer, Galloway, and Luke. That's brutal. Of course, it also shows how a couple lucky/good moves can dramatically remake the roster in ways nobody could see coming.

Another thing that annoys me about this Blake trade is that its doing exactly what SVG wanted it to do. Thats keep the attention of the crap job hes doing. I see people bringing up **** like "We need to see what his plan looks like with Jackson next season" "He had a vision with this trade" ETC ETC.

If we would of held Harris and looked this bad you wouldnt hear this stuff at all. He would be out the door. He was already on the hotseat pre trade. So now hes got the "Jackson injury" excuse, The "SVG has a vison excuse" and the "Blake needs to adjust excuse". Like he could of got better free agents or hit on a draft pick he wouldnt be in this mess. His GM skills suck and his coaching is outdated. Any other coach would be gone after 4 years of going all in for 8 seeds and looking this bad.

Take todays game. I'm watching the raps stream, the announcers say when the raps are on that huge run something like "This is when the heats on the coach, do you call a timeout or let your guys play". Of course SVG lets them play and the raps score like 5 points more and put the game within two or something. Hes just a bad coach his style is WAY outdated and his adjustments suck.

This trade was him busting out smoke and mirrors and alot of people are falling for it.

Idk Blake had a good game tonight. Good in the clutch as well, I don't know if he's that much better than Tobias though really. Not much talent around him right now.

He had a good game tonight. He's been playing fine the last couple games. It's just not leading to wins same as most his games with the clippers this season where he had good numbers . I think we could be a 500 team with him next year. Similar to the clippers who were 500 with him.

Hopefully his trade value keeps rising and we can Stan and the next GM can get some value back for him.

Trade Blake & filler for Wall & Mahinmi's albatross contract.

After next year Reggie / Mahinmi / Leuer / Galloway make up nearly $60 mil in expiring money. Hope to get lucky and land a 3rd star with all the expirings and whatever assets we have.

Otherwise just nuke everything, let a new regime build from the ground up, if we can trade Blake for anything we have a pretty clean cap sheet in the summer of 2020.

I love pistons fan grasping at straws about Reggie Jackson being the savior next season. Like every nba team goes without a crucial player for huge portions of the season.

Wiz-Wall, Celtics-Hayward,Cavs-Love,Pelicans-Cousins,rockets-CP3,Jazz-Gobert,clippers-Blake,Spurs-Kiwi,Wolves-Butler

I'm sure im missing some other big injuries and this is just this season. So two seasons now some people use the "if Jackson was healthy" we'd be good. Yet all these other teams miss way better players then Jackson and still continue churning out wins. Enough is enough already. Clearly the pistons roster isnt built well if other teams can handle stars going out yet we cant handle a middle of the pack pg going down.
