Gotta think we can win this one, CLE dealing with TT injury. Depends on how pissed LBJ is tonight, how focused JR is. We may have focus issues ourselves but could just be the opposite as well. Last time Jokic was benched I believe he came out next game to score 41pt, love to see that tonight.

I've given up trying to predict the Nuggets' game. Let's assume that two of our starters will give less than a great effort - and I'll assume that Harris is not one of those two. Let's assume that our bench will be unpredictable. Maybe we'll get lucky and Malone will get two technicals while he's still in the locker-room.

Nance playing really well. Is it too late to clear Tristan Thompson to play?

I would have to have a draft pick(s) with Porzingas to think about it,but still not inclined to do it.

Porzingis
2 second round picks
Emanuel mudiay

For

Jokic

In that 23-38 1st quarter you can see everything bad which we have this March in Denver, but despite painful loss seems the team finally stop bleeding because since 2nd quarter, and especially during 2nd half our game is exactly how it should to be: offense around Jokic, and stronger defense. Despite big deficit, we almost beat Cleveland, but unfortunately, LeBron has a big game even by his own standards (including 5-8 for 3pt), Barton and Chandler which are good lately have a bad night, and Murray was injured in the worst moment, 6 minutes before the end when the game was tied.

Porzingis and Embiid are with a reason seen now like big injury risk players, which is the reason why their trade value is behind KAT or Jokic right now.

If I'm Knicks FO and want to offer KP because of scared of his injury risks, I would try with some prime ages veterans which technically also have injury problems, but not that fundamentally like in Porzingis case: Kawhi, Butler, Hayward+pick...

Yes

But seriously, porzingis might average 25 a game for the rest of his career, but he’s a low % shooter who doesn’t really make his teammates any better. Jokic has already shown that he’s the caliber of all around offensive player that you can easily build a top 5 offense around.

Defensively, Jokic is better in all the advanced numbers but porzingis is better on the eye test.

I think the Jokic>porzingis offensive impact difference is much bigger than the porzingis > Jokic defensive impact difference. I probably could’ve worded that better, but you get it.

There’s also the injury risk issue. 7’3 guys tend to have knee/foot issues, especially when they move like porzingis does.

The team didn't play smart in the closing time, Harris and Murray really rushed some shots , instead of playing patiently , also the first half was dysfunctional and it looked like three previous game. Its hard to see Denver making the play off's this season, there are are still lots of issue, especially with Jokic and Millsap sharing the floor together, all players look like they gave up .
